I'm thrilled to post up IS025 in gratitude for the 1000 followers my music has reached.  I made this set back in January, and along the flow of life decided to share this in honor of everyone who is moved by the music as I am.  It is an honor to share this music with you.  I am blessed to be surrounded by such amazing music and humans - thank you from the bottom of my heart and soul!

About Indigo Sessions:
My interest in becoming a DJ originated from a desire to create mixes weaving tracks that inspire me into a journey to be shared with others.  In 2011 I introduced my next generation of sets aptly titled Indigo Sessions.  Symbolically, indigo represents Ajna, the sixth chakra, or the "third eye", the center of intuition and insight, and the gateway to higher consciousness. When energy isn’t flowing easily through this chakra, we have a sense of self-doubt and distrust, unable to see clearly within a spiritual darkness. When it’s open and clear, we feel deeply connected to our inner wisdom and trust that it guides us in our choices.  Throughout and beyond music, I am a on an ever-evolving journey in exploring and developing my spiritual vibrations in search of harmony.

A word from Sweat It Out on the track:

This one is pretty hard to write, but at the same time, it has what I would like to think, a good ending.

I have known young Benson for quite a while, but not as long as the late and great AJAX. It turns out, they met one night in Terrigal way back in 2008. Jax was the superstar guest dj and Benson, the local guy with a demo. But better than just giving his demo to Jax, he got a lift home with him. The ride was full of advice and tips, tips Benson took on board to the fullest extent.

Fast forward a few years, and Jax had been playing some (now Melbourne based) Benson bootlegs but hand't put 2 and 2 together that it was the same Benson from Terrigal. This led to some Sweat (Jaxxy) commissioned remixes for the young boy and in a huge nod to Benson's development, the guys collabbed on a remix of Yolanda Be Cool's Love Keeps.

AJAX was famous for recognizing talent early and 6 years after giving Benson a lift home, I feel he would be very, very stoked to be releasing a Benson original on his imprint.

And Benson should be proud of Hot Mess. It's wonky. It's swampy. And yet somehow, kinda poppy. And Lex Famous kills it on vox.

AND we got remixes. YBC pitch a house in the tropics, Dom Dollar adds his charm (banging as it may be hip) and Jad & The Ladyboy ensure that the cool(est) kids are happy too.

Alright folks, here's my 2014 Burning Man retrospective mix. I had a lovely time out there and got to play a lot of great gigs. But one thing I didn't happen to do this year was play any sunset music - so I'm doing it now instead. This is a style and a sound that is quintessentially Burning Man in my mind. Those soft early evening hours as the sun melts over the horizon. Music that is emotive and expansive, delicate yet strong, touched with a tinge of melancholy, but pretty and hopeful at the same time. Hope it takes you back just a little bit...

The hypnotic momentum of the night passes to the hands of DJ Three as light begins to fill sky and the new day creeps ever closer.  For forty breathless minutes we wait… until at last the sun breaks over the horizon, and a collage of verbal musings, psychedelia and ornate music fills the air.  Toying with echoes and teasing with nuance, shutters fluttering to capture the fleeting moment…a moment not soon forgotten for those who were lucky enough to be there, at sunrise on Sunday, Black Rock City, Burning Man, 2014.   And then, just as easily as we are led into that place, a whole movement of sound and energy returns the dance floor.

For October, here's a mix that evokes transformation.  Flux, the action or process of flowing, is my favorite part of the fall.  In the summertime, we're bombarded with music festivals, new people, day parties, nice weather, traveling, etc.  When Autumn comes around, you begin to interpret and classify those experiences and what to take away from them to prepare yourself for a winter of creativity and homelife.  What's important to you and who is serving as a positive influence in your life?  Start to block out other's influences, trends, and styles.  Focus on your raw, uninhibited art, and get to work :)
