AMAZING! The back track is so downtempo perfect :)

For a long time it was quiet around Özgür Can. The progressive tech master moved to the other side of the world and took some time off. The DJ/producer returned to his beloved Sweden and with that he also returned to the studio. Özgür Can gave our previous release “Maracuja” a special treatment and sent it to Code Red its founder Marcus Schössow. He fell in love with the remix straight away and also Kiholm said Can nailed it. Well, that made it pretty clear we had to share it with all our followers!

The original version of “Maracuja” is very groovy and cheerful. The guitar melody is really catchy and gives it a Mediterranean vibe. Özgür Can, stripped it down and showed once again that less can be more. The Swedish DJ/producer fell back on his techy roots, but stayed loyal to the original. However, it is clearly recognizable as an Özgur Can remix with a darker bassline and touch of tribal.

The Swedish DJ/producer Özgür Can has made a name for himself over the past decade. Though it was a bit quiet around him, the progressive and tech house master flew around the whole world and got supported by the biggest DJ before there even was an EDM movement. With his unique and versatile sound Can knows how to stay fresh.
 
The Özgür Can remix of “Maracuja” is the official return of the multitalented Swedish DJ/producer.
