Primarily based out of Washington, DC, Nag Champa Art Ensemble is more about organic sounds and textures. Since the band's founding in 2014, performances at local venues such as The John F. Kennedy Center, The Smithsonian American Art Museum & Black Cat quickly cemented the group amongst critics and casual music fans alike. The band creates an otherworldly sound that can best be described as futuristic funk, blending house music with jazz, hip-hop, go-go and more elements that sound like something from another universe. A group comprised of musicians of many different disciplines, close to half of their performances are improvised. Developing their sound in consistent jam sessions. This practice originates from their experience in the worlds of avant garde jazz and experimental hip hop. The members of Nag Champa look to serve as cultural ambassadors to the Nation's Capitol, performing around the district with artists from New York, Philadelphia, Los Angeles, Taiwan, Japan & beyond.

Renell McEwan, aka RNL - the backbone of Delegation Music recording group Far Exp, is no stranger to the joy and energy that comes from collaborating over good music. It should come as no surprise, therefore, that “RNLIFICATION: Build A Better Brand, Vol. 1” is less a solo debut and more so a celebratory cavalcade of the District’s lyrical talent which he just so happens to have executive produced, curated and hosted. The album showcases DMV mainstays Ardamus and Grindstone, who - along with Philadelphia crooners U.City - feature prominently on the debut single “Pass The Green”. Additional guests include Caprice, Omojado (who also produced a good portion of the release), and fellow Delegation Music artist Prowess. !	Born and raised in SE Washington DC, RNL began rapping in 1992 - inspired by the positive, creative approach of artists such as Big Daddy Kane, Souls of Mischief, and A Tribe Called Quest. In his multi-decade career, he has performed across the United States and Europe - where he has a devoted fan following - with a slew of renowned artists. In 2007, he founded the Far Exp with Ardamus and Flex Mathews. Interestingly enough, RNL was a vital asset in NIH’s Freestyle Science experiments.
