Been working so hard on my sound lately, towards a more gritty, energetic & hard-hitting sound, while keeping it groovy and hypnotic.
Been trying to make tracks that I can play peaktime in my sets without loosing my sound, and these tracks really represent my sound atm.

Casper Schulz - In Your Mind

After witnessing one of their sets at Amsterdam institution @breakfast-club-music-1 last year, we felt an instant urge to invite Caim (@caim-records) to our mix series.

While Caim is a recent project, its members Tommy Kornuijt and Mark Antoni have been active in Amsterdam’s scene for years as independent DJ’s, most notably with their residency for the Breakfast Club where they have become known for extended after-hour sets. Last summer they released a first EP on their self-titled label Caim Records, with a second release scheduled for early 2019.

Our first mix of 2019 by Caim is a perfect reflection of their sound: Timeless and with a hypnotizing groove, it finely treads the line between organic techno and rolling breaks.

For the 48th instalment of the series we turn to Irish DJ  Pat Hyland for 90 minutes of ultra deep house and mellow techno.

Pat is a lover of the warped groove and has been playing records in his home city (Dublin) since 1988. He was part of the first wave of house DJ's to hit Dublin and is resident at the legendary SIDES as well as being a founder member of the Asylum crew.
