“Buffalo Bill” is a solo tenor saxophone piece that musically reenacts one of the final scenes from the film, “The Silence of the Lambs”. Throughout the composition, the saxophone will portray all sounds heard in the scene in which the killer, nicknamed ‘Buffalo Bill’, is identified and caught by Detective Clarice Starling. The piece incorporates a variety of extended techniques in order to effectively imitate the sounds from the scene, such as doors opening, screaming, and gun shots. This piece was my 'technical extreme' for second semester. I went WAY out of my comfort zone in composing this and I believe it paid off.

'Crowns' is the second single from Beaten Bodies' EP due mid 2014. 'Crowns' was recorded and produced by Drew Bisset at The Vault Studios in Balmain, Sydney.

A Sick Beat (2015)

This piece was was performed at the Maritime Museum, Darling Harbour Sydney as part of an emerging composers concert by the Sydney Children's Choir. They did an amazing performance. A big thanks to Lyn Williams and her crew particularly Elizabeth Vierboom and Sally Whitwell!
