I love the detailed storytelling in the verses and the contrast of the simple chorus lyrics.  Also, love the lines, "Only time will tell which one of us is playing the fool" and "we both know what we've got to lose."

Awesome job, Erin, this is channeling so much good attitude. Great writing.

I love the way your vocals are intense and so focused. You have such a powerhouse voice and you use it to full effect here esp that chorus that is a killer. 👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼 sounded awesome live too. 

This has to be made into a full band track at some point. really enjoyed this one.

This is a step in a different direction, Erin -- at least from the songs I've heard of yours. I really enjoyed the bluesy element to the melody and it really suits your voice. I agree that with the others who mentioned that it would be a great one to do with a full band.

Loved this one on the zoom songwriting circle, great to hear it again here. So relatable, we humans are such strange creatures and what better subject to capture in a sultry rock and roll anthem.

This song was inspired by a number of things, but basically it was just me grabbing a newspaper and thinking "hey, I haven't read one of these in a while"
