Hypnagogia: 

To celebrate my first time visiting and performing in Scandinavia this October (and my love of Halloween and spooky season!) I spent the recent heatwave with the curtains closed, soaking up the rich, magical, darkness of Scandinavian horror folklore! I’ve conjured up four new dark narratives in celebration of the turn of the season and teamed up once again with musical warlock Ed Harcourt to bring you ‘Hypnagogia’ – an auditory horror show, featuring the dulcet tones of esteemed actor David Morrissey; acting as our very own Vincent Price. Expect to hear stories of nightmare demonesses, monsters lurking underwater, the goddess of decay off for a night on the town, and terrifying illuminations luring loved ones into the forest… It’s a musical mixed bag of everything from thrashing rock to spooky synths, to David Lynch and Tim Burton inspired cinematic soundscapes

Dear friends, the other day I saw a video from a bomb-ravaged city. A small dog walked among the ruins and seemed to be searching for something. Then I got inspiration for this song.
How can the warlords be allowed to continue their killing spree. They seem to be driven by greed, by hatred, or by a distorted religious view.

A Dog looking for his Master

In the night between the buildings where the battle took place
the lonely dog was searching for his master who is just a little
boy, nine years old - they walked out together
when the bombs hit the streets of their dear hometown
The situation here in this world - can no longer continue

The little boy has lost his mom and his dad during this war
the only relative he has is the little dog he found forty-
four days ago - and now they are separated
during these misarable days in their hometown
The situation here in this world - can no longer continue

The dog sniffs around all the ruins and all the dirt
with the intension of finding some signs which can tell him where the
little boy may be - and suddenly he found him
he was stuck under concrete masses but still he was alive
The situation here in this world - can no longer continue

The dog bumped his nose against the little boys dusty cheek
 he looked for a reaction and after a while the boy can 
open his eyes - and after some licking
he can see that the young man can produce a smile
