Scottish born composer Liam Paton moved to London in 2004 and has over the past 12 years been writing music for short films, commercials and fashion shows, including a number of projects with Nick Knight’s SHOWstudio and 2 original scores for British designer Anya Hindmarch’s catwalk shows. He has won a number of awards for his music including a D&AD Black Pencil, 2 Music & Sound Awards and a Cannes Bronze Lion.

More recently, he has written additional music for the feature film The Man From Mo’Wax, an incredible documentary about the life and career of DJ icon and music producer James Lavelle. Unearthed from over 700 hours of footage including exclusive personal archive spanning three decades, the film is an incredible story about the main behind UNKLE and the record label Mo’Wax.

Union#1 is the debut album by Liam Paton, released in 2018 and featuring collaborations with producer and vocalist Jade Pybus.
