MAMI, a Melbourne-based duo consisting of Adam Norris and Will Gaythorpe, joined forces in early 2020 due to their mutual passion for music and the desire to capture the hearts and minds of their audience. They set the bar high with their expansive musical knowledge and excellent producing capabilities. The duo have performed at multiple prominent venues within Australia and Europe, and will soon be embarking on their debut Asia tour. They have had the pleasure of sharing the stage with international artists such as Adam Beyer, Cassian, Deborah De Luca, Innellea, Korolova, Mau P, Township Rebellion and Hidden Empire, and many more.

MAMI’s musical success advanced further when their first EP ‘Lost in Sound’ reached #10 for overall Progressive House on Beatport charts. Since then, MAMI have had multiple releases which were well-received industry wide and have boosted their standing in the music space. Their EP ‘So Real’ reached #16 for Hype: Melodic House & Techno on Beatport charts. MAMI’s music has received support from renowned artists such as Adriatique, Korolova, Lauren Mia, Øostil, David Guetta, Enai, Cenkk, Nora En Pure, to name a few.

MAMI have mastered the art of creating unforgettable experiences for their audiences. They were the first artists to play a mesmerising set at the summit of Mount Buller in Australia, 1800 metres above sea level, during a spectacular sunset moment. MAMI continues to produce memorable experiences through their event series, Resonance, which features the duo performing on two separate consoles face-to-face in a boiler-room set-up accompanied by a state of the art audio-visual production.

About the Artist: 

Back in 2004, the fusion of the sounds of soft and mystical house rhythms as well as harmonic parts inspired by trance music gave rise to the first ideas of a project that would only start to appear more actively on the EDM scene a little later, a project called Jelly For The Babies.

What adorns the producer behind the above-mentioned project is the variety in his creations, playing with synths and rhythms, experimentation that eventually led to his sound being easily recognizable.

Just like his spirit, his music is not bound by genre, but is "free", and you can see the releases signed both for progressive and techno, as well as for publishing houses that cultivate the sound of deep, minimal and organic house music. Therefore, the very thing that makes him original leads to his music, throughout his career, being supported, both through sets and through the charts, by artists such as Hernan Cattaneo, Eelke Kleijn, John Digweed, Way Out West, Guy J and many others.

Then came the first international guest appearances, tours, festivals and club parties in Lithuania, Portugal, France, Germany, Switzerland, South Africa, Holland, Italy as well as countries in the region. Graduated Audio & Video engineer as well as the owner of three publishing houses, The Purr Music, One Of A Kind and RYNTH, where he mentions discovering new talents, giving young producers a chance, promoting them in the best possible way and mutual cooperation with more experienced colleagues as the key thing.
