Luis Daniel thoroughly impressed us with his debut on TOR - a remix of The Hunt by Eduardo McGregor. His deep and dubby take harnessed punchy minimal house structure under blissful melodics, showcasing his Miami-bred sound. I made this mix based on tunes of some of favorites my artists from LEV 2020, a festival that will most probably be cancelled (or delayed) due to the pandemic. 
LEV happens in Gijón (Asturias), a city that I love. I also used the album "Asi Canta Asturias" from 1974, a compilation of traditional folk music from the region. 
I wanted to mix what happened then and what happens now in Gijón.

A short mix based on the narrative of feeling alone in a city you don't yet know.

Most of the music used in this mix has been from XLR8R. The reason for this, was to showcase the quality of music they share and for free!!!! A big thank you to all the producers who shared their music with XLR8R.
