Other People is a record label started in New York City in 2013 by Nicolás Jaar. In its 10 years of existence, it has featured the sonic work of over 70 music releases, highlights include Terepa (2015), a "telepathic" collaboration helmed by Kohei Matsunaga (aka NHK’Koyxen) featuring Rashad Becker, Charlotte Collin, Lucrecia Dalt, Laurel Halo, Julia Holter, Grégoire Simon and Kohei himself, Caves (2021), a compilation of silences featuring Laraaji, Aho Ssan, Ana Quiroga and more, Weavings (2022), a collaborative live piece with Juliana Huxtable, Ellen Fullman, Wukir Suryadi and Rully Shabara of Senyawa, Angel Bat Dawid and others. The label has also put out the 1990 spoken word piece "Conspiracy of Women" (2015) by Lydia Lunch, as well as Tomaga & Pierre Bastien's collaborative album entitled Bandiera di Carta (2019) and Lucrecia Dalt's Esotro / Veta release (2014) with remixes by William Basinski and John Wall. It has also featured the likes of Magdalena Dàugosz, Barbara Zawadzka, Bernadetta Matuszczak, Krzysztof Knittel, Bogusław Shaeffer, Saint Abdullah, Eomac, Dienne, Charbel Haber, Okokon, Against All Logic, FKA Twigs, Darkside, Nicolás Jaar and others.  It has featured the visual work of Maziyar Pahlevan, Africanus Okokon, Zofia Kulik, Jena Myung, Charbel Haber, Abeera Kamran and Somnath Bhatt among others. The label’s current contract states that an artist on the label owns all their rights and decides the full percentage of the revenue they wish to make from their releases on the label, after recoupment. Any of the label’s profit gets given out to artists in forms of grants, workshop and educational initiatives. The label has collaborated in this form with more than three dozen exceptional organizations and individuals in the past three years. Although the label works not-for-profit, it is not a registered non-profit.

Yamaha and Muse Receptor sponsored artist Andrew Colyer has played piano, keyboards, trumpet, and sung across the United States, Canada, and Japan, including three times at Carnegie Hall.  His classical training includes the Juilliard School, and his teaching lineage places him five steps down from Beethoven.

Rock/pop experience includes performing and collaborating with Tony Levin (Peter Gabriel, King Crimson), Jon Anderson (YES), The Tubes, Ryche Chlanda (Fireballet, Renaissance), Max Flyer (CBS Records), 10th Planet, the Prog Rock Orchestra, Circuline, and the Progressive Rock Tribute Band, Downing Grey.

With regards to jazz and big band music, Andrew has performed with Clark Terry, Louis Bellson, Marvin Stamm, Nick Brignola, and the Avalon Jazz Quartet.

Andrew has composed original music for commercial radio and video, and for Indie film producer Luke Franek’s award-winning film, “Tingle”.

You might have seen Andrew singing and playing keyboards on the “iProg – Your Classic Prog Playlist on Shuffle” tour with Downing Grey during 2013.  Andrew recently performed on keyboards/vocals with the Prog Rock Orchestra on the Moody Blues Cruise and the Yes-headlining Cruise To The Edge in April 2014.  One of the core members of the modern progressive rock band Circuline, Andrew has been performing live on keyboards/vocals with Circuline since November 2014, and composed/performed on Circuline’s debut album (released April 2015).  Andrew is currently scheduled to perform live at the 2016 NAMM convention in Anaheim, California.

In addition to group collaborations, Andrew also composes and performs his own original music.  His first CD, Gift to Gaia (co-produced with Lilli Farrell for Japanese popular artist Kirk Reinert), toured Japan and sold over 3000 copies.  The latest CD of original music from Andrew, About Time, was released December 2014.  He lives between New York City and Woodstock.

The Italian-German composer, DJ and founder of the record label 99CHANTS. He has been releasing music since 2010, but it took self- evaluation and a re-examination of his priorities for August to lean towards the future and follow his most experimental inclinations.
In 2023, his output is harder than ever to define, stretching across genres and disciplines to chafe the heart of the human experience.
