Ernesto Mendoza Maldonado, better known by his stage name Erness, is a Venezuelan singer, songwriter, and producer with a passion for various musical genres. Raised in Venezuela, Erness was exposed to a diverse range of musical styles at a young age, including classical, jazz, blues, and Latin rhythms like merengue and salsa. He began his musical journey at the age of five when his mother, also a music enthusiast, enrolled him in the most prestigious classical piano school in their city, where he studied under the guidance of renowned Cuban teacher Caridad Verjano.

Despite initial nerves and apprehension, Erness thrived under Verjano's guidance and developed an early appreciation for music theory, solfege, and piano technique. Alongside his piano studies, he also participated in a choir, Cantaragua, which allowed him to further hone his vocal skills and perform on some of Venezuela's most prestigious stages.

Erness continued to develop his musical talents throughout his adolescence, taking up the guitar as a self-taught musician and composing his first song at the age of thirteen. However, it wasn't until the age of seventeen that he felt a more profound connection to the creative process, experiencing a newfound maturity and authenticity in his songwriting.

In recent years, Erness has expanded his musical horizons even further, studying music production and exploring his own unique sound. He has been releasing original music and covers on his SoundCloud channel and his music is available on all major streaming platforms.

With a lifelong love for music and a dedication to his craft, Erness is an artist to watch in the world of Latin American music.
