A seasoned musician, Ernie Magtuto has over twenty years experience in the industry as a performer, composer, arranger, producer and music director, and has collaborated with some of the most respected names in the Philippine Music Industry. 
He began his career playing keyboards for a cover band before getting his first big break as the music director of The New Minstrels in 1987. Numerous stints abroad as a session player followed, along with a long string of jingle writing, film scoring, and musical theater projects, including being tapped as music arranger at the Metropop Music Festival. 
Before taking the helm as the host and musical director of Sessions on 25th Street, Ernie had a second stint as musical director of The New Minstrels, and opened his own recording studio, EM1 Sound & Visual lab.
