Dilemma Podcast 062 Giorgio Gigli from Rome (Italy). After a deep exploration of several kinds of electronic dance music, in a broad evolutionary path, Giorgio Gigli’s music has assumed an intense and personal form of communication.
The modules emerging from his compositions run across a process where moods are transformed into waves, layers and substrates that are ready to catch and overwhelm the listener without changing original content.

His skill is to transmit an accurate signal using undiscovered frequencies inspired by desolate and noir tinged landscapes. Giorgio transforms his material. Voids, pitfalls, drones and dilated melodies become intricate, sophisticated, and hypnotic rhythmic equipment that runs the risk of constantly changing classicist techno aesthetics in a conceptual derivation close to his soul.

Giorgio loves ambient music that dues to its descriptive power allows him to analyze and render every vibration and vision, both during production and his long dj sets, where he explores empty rooms that are filled with vintage recordings, ethereal drones and field sonority. This particular working method is also reflected in his harder sets, where rhythm increases tension while it is moving forward unchallenged through industrial echoes, robotic tricks and building grooves that produce shaped variations of his meaning. Substance thickens to provide a thoughtful and reflexive listening experience.

All these elements are poured into his project “Zooloft Records”, the platform that represent him in a past few years. Now his techno vision involved into new collaborative projects with Speedy J’s Electric Deluxe and Perc (“Endless” project). Starting from 2011 the collaboration with Electric Deluxe has established an intense relationship ferrying his DJ set in a new dimension where it combines an industrial/dark approach with a solid stream techno club-oriented

La búsqueda por aumentar la calidad del proyecto va asociada al trabajo incesante en cada uno de sus conjuntos. Enfocado en los sonidos más duros y potentes de la escena Techno.

Submerged in both Djing and production, Fabrizio Lapiana started his career as a Dj back in 1994, influenced mainly by the early 90's sound of Rome and Detroit as well by the first european pioneers of electronic music.
In his DJ sets, Fabrizio makes a precise and intimate techno flow that seduces the dancefloor mixing new and old vinyls range from deep, intricate techno, through an acid and groovy darkness with some melodic gems along the way. 
With his label “Attic Music”, founded in 2008, Fabrizio grow up his sound combining deep aesthetics and techno grooves often allowing ambient or industrial elements. To remember also the strong collaboration with Max_M on his M_Rec 10'' series in 2014, that showed his most emotional view of techno.
His performances in Rome as well in some of the finest wordwide clubs are a way to offer his right vibrations in the techno scene in the last years: the energy created by Fabrizio's sets worth living!

Originally from Seoul, Korea, Unjin's international debut came with Miami WMC 2010 as Korea’s best electronic musician. Since then Unjin is fast becoming known in Asian techno circles as one of top
producers and DJs to watch. Unjin is the founder of Korea’s first techno label 'ECI Korea' , a platform to expose emerging domestic and international talents to the world stage. As composer and producer, Unjin has played a key role in laying the foundation for a Korean techno culture.
In 2010, as a part of the duo East Collective, the first techno album 'Spiral Sequence' was released, receiving international recognition for the successful remixes of works for Ryogo Yamamori and DJ Sodeyama with Drumcell, Mr. Jones, Jonas Kopp, Tony Rohr & Layton Giodani, and inspiring many young Korean artists.
Under the ECI Korea label, Unjin's first concept album 'Kids In Seoul' came to life with support from DJs 2000 and One, Abstract Division, Efdemin, Etapp Kyle, Troy Pierce. 'Kids In Seoul' explores techno culture and night life in Korea and beyond.
Released in 2016, 'Fog Machine Remix EP' with Ness, Dorian Gray, Miller & Keane and Unjin himself, gained huge international success and support from global techno communities.
While holding residency at Vurt Club in Seoul, Unjin tours internationally. Host venues have included Tresor
Berlin, London's Ministry of Sound, Zouk in Singapore, Tokyo's Womb and Air, the Sullivan Room in New York City, Spybar in Chicago, ℅ Pop in Germany, Ultra Japan, Midi festival, Shelter, Beijing's Lantern and Sonar Korea.
Unjin's reputation for pushing musical boundaries began back in the mid 90’s as one of Korea's first underground indie musicians in Seoul's relatively young underground music scene, grew through his imaginative live ambient solo project Rainjacket, and continues to develop in exciting new directions as an independent producer and DJ on the international stage.

Joachim Spieth is a DJ, producer, and Affin's label owner. His first release on Wolfgang Voigt’s and Michael Mayer’s Kompakt label dates back to the late nineties.

He has proven his skills as a music producer through the likes of John Peel, Martin L. Gore, The Orb, Sven Väth, and Juan Atkins among others. Spieth’s musical inventory has grown and been shaped over the two last decades, allowing him to define a specific sound signature for his label Affin, oscillating between techno and ambient soundscapes. In 2017, Joachim Spieth released "Irradiance", his first full-length album, providing a cohesive feel of deep and atmospheric soundscapes with hypnotic bass drums. The album was well received in the underground scene. In 2018, Affin made its entry in Resident Advisor's top 100 labels, sharing its vision with artists such as Reggy Van Oers, Svarog, Arnaud Le Texier, Deepbass, and Toki Fuko.

As a DJ, Joachim Spieth has been performing in more than 30 countries all over the world. He's driven by an absolute devotion to music and his pleasure to share it to the world.
