Queda un poco lejos la navidad del 2002, al igual que mi complicado y dubitativo inicio en la residencia de Florida 135. Por aquel entonces llevaba unos 17 meses tratando de gestionar la Main Room del club de Fraga de la mejor forma posible. Estar al mando de una de las cabinas más exigentes de la península, por no decir la que más, conlleva un peso y una responsabilidad difíciles de sobrellevar.. al menos así era para mí en aquel momento...
No esperéis escuchar una gran sesión (probablemente sea reflejo de mis propias contradicciones durante los primeros meses residiendo en la catedral). Hay temas, momentos, mezclas y transiciones interesantes y otros no tanto. Para mi es algo desconexa, desordenada y con una dirección no del todo definida… Pero bueno, como todo prescribe a los 5 años, me abstengo de juicios y prejuicios ya que sólo pretendo compartirla con todos vosotros diez años después, esté como esté ejecutada.

The Monegros Desert is noted for its Monegros Desert Festival, usually held in mid-July, attracting numerous Spaniards and internationally renowned DJ's and bands and some 40,000 people to its electronic music performances annually. Formerly called the "Groove Parade" after being founded in 1992, it is held at the Finca Les Peñetes, roughly 18 kilometres (11 mi) west of Fraga, not far from Bujaraloz. It is held in a windowless graffiti filled hall called Flarida, with an area of some 3,000 square metres (32,000 sq ft).

DJ, producer, musician, promoter and Techno Music enthusiast alike, Errol Dix hails out of Linz, Upper Austria. His creative work ranges from spinning vinyl records, hosting events like “Lost Diamonds” and “Rhythm Maker” to presenting his monthly DJ mix series “LIFE UNIT” on YouTube.

Having spent many years playing at numerous national and international clubs - alongside hard-hitters like Marco Zaffarano, Umek, Ben Long, The Advent, Jay Denham, Gayle San, Ignition Technician, W. J. Henze, DJ Murphy, Funk D Void, Brenda Russell, DJ Boss, Dave the Drummer, Chris Liberator, Boriqua Tribez, Jamie Bissmiere and DJ Preach... to name a few - Errol has had a lot of time to evolve his distinctive style. Inspired by his idol Ben Sims, he developed a multi-faceted and dynamic funky-sound with house influencies. Throughout his performances as a resident-DJ of “Hardgroovs”, “Schalldruckk” and “Technoelement”, Errol remained true to his Tribal and Hardgroove Techno music style. Producing his own sets was bound to occur and releases took place on various international labels like “Zero!”, “Adult Records”, “Work Hard Play Hard”, “Techno Artillery”, “*Cutz and Valvula Records”.

Some of the key gigs, that brought Errol Dix to where he is today, are: 02 Arena London, Brixton Academy London, Planet House Germany, Exact Moment Maribor Slovenia, Summerbeach Rudava Slovakia, Pressure Festival Austria, Sunflower Festival Austria, Technobase Graz Austria and Progressive Selection Tabakfabrik Austria...

Despite all remarkable achievements, for Errol it’s all about mood: listening, feeling and understanding. Playing his tracks will get you tapping your feet and nodding your head without even realizing it... so don’t be surprised when you suddenly find yourself dancing!
