Svreca, hailing from Madrid, is a prominent DJ and the mastermind behind Semantica (@semantica-records), a renowned techno label. His sets are celebrated for their experimental nature and slow evolution, blending elements of both listening and club music without concern for current trends. Whether it's his own productions or those he commissions, Svreca consistently maintains a high standard of quality. He's a prominent figure on the global techno circuit, gracing iconic venues such as Tresor and Berghain, as well as featuring at festivals worldwide, including the prestigious Labyrinth Festival in Japan. Semantica has served as a platform for heavyweight artists such as Surgeon, Oscar Mulero, Regis, and Donato Dozzy, as well as emerging talents like Acronym, Stanislav Tolkachev, Abdulla Rashim, Shifted, and Varg, among others. Svreca has been sharpening his vision through his own label, while also collaborating and recording for esteemed labels like Jealous God, Warm Up Recordings, and Spazio Disponibile.

This HOCast refers to the first hour of the DJ set during the closing set of the HIRU night.

Mareena, a DJ and producer from Berlin who developed a deep connection with electronic music during her teenage years already mainly through youth club culture and underground parties of the post-communist era in East Germany. Moving to Berlin in 2004, she began DJing and immersed herself in the city's vibrant nightlife, drawing inspiration from dub techno and early 2000s techno productions. Her dynamic, non-linear beats earned her a residency at Tresor since 2012.

Mareena has performed at renowned clubs like Berghain, De School, and international events. In addition to her club sets, she excels in the ambient genre, founding the UNRUSH event series, podcast, and label in 2016, focusing on ambient music as a counterpoint to today's fast-paced society.

She has released music on labels like Muzan Editions, Tresor, and her own imprint, Unrush. Mareena's credibility and daring style have made her a key figure in contemporary electronic music culture.

Saludos, en el episodio 029 les presentamos a Sara Nieto,  una gran artista que ha experimentando con la música de diversas formas y formatos a lo largo de sus años. Comenzó su proceso con el canto, y con el tiempo se fue enfocando en la producción musical, y en la labor de ser DJ. Su estilo en la música parte de géneros como el hypnotic, con rítmicas de minimal, influencias de Funk y muestras de percusiones. Sus sonidos tienden a ser más agudos para dar un toque futurista, pero sin perder esa conexión con lo orgánico y lo natural. Al mezclar estos dos elementos, Sara crea un ambiente sonoro que se percibe auténtico y emocionalmente profundo. Su trabajo la ha llevado a presentarse en diferentes espacios y al reconocimiento en la escena local. Para Sara el arte es un proceso de constante evolución, dónde cada día se adentra más en la música y en el descubrimiento de sí mismo.

Greetings, in episode 029 we introduce you to Sara Nieto, a great artist who has experimented with music in various ways and formats throughout her years. She began her process with singing, and over time she focused on music production, and the work of being a DJ. Her style in music is based on genres such as hypnotic, with minimal rhythms, Funk influences and percussion samples. Her sounds tend to be higher pitched to give a futuristic touch, but without losing that connection with the organic and the natural. By mixing these two elements, Sara creates a sound environment that is perceived as authentic and emotionally deep. Her work has led her to perform in different spaces and to recognition in the local scene. For Sara, art is a process of constant evolution, where every day she delves deeper into music and self-discovery.

First up is the impromptu b2b2b2b from Fadi Mohem, Kancheli, NDRX and Philippa Pacho that closed out last April’s Bassiani takeover. If you were there, you know how special this night was. Ten minutes before we planned to wrap the night, it was decided that the music simply could not stop. The four artists took over the booth in BASEMENT, and what resulted was 3 hours of euphoric techno that sent everyone out on an incredible high. These are moments that can’t be planned, curated or recreated. When they happen, you pray the recorder is on and running. Thank god it was.

Familia esta semana les traemos un gran artista, gran amigo, gran productor, quien nos regala un enorme Warm Up que grabó el pasado 14 de Marzo en Distopia Club en la ciudad de Bilbao. calentándo la pista para el maestro Svreca  su nombre es Victor Raigoza, mas conocido como Azogiař". Nacido en Cali - Valle Del Cauca, Criado en Roldanillo, Colombia; es un productor influenciado por la escena electrónica local desde el 2014. Azogiař: Es productor del nuevo Ola del 2020, ahora respetado por su disciplina en el estudio su música ahora ya cuenta con un gran respaldo a nivel mundial, actualmente radicado en España desde noviembre de 2022. Tiempo después fue moldeando su panorama sonoro con sintetizadores psicodélicos y atmósferas envolventes con su característico beat rawtechno. 

Ha estado compartiendo en su corta carrera con DJ/Productores internacionales y nacionales como:  Svreca, Roll Dan, Function, Pifter, Mal Hombre, Kike Pravda, Vergil, SCHXSCXHSC, Deraout, etc.

Este 2025 tiene su próximo lanzamiento en Semántica Récords del maestro Svreca.
