Shane Beck & Marco Lucchi - Awareness of the Poet

My new song ‘Copper Flames’. This track was written, recorded and produced entirely by myself using an acoustic guitar and an 80s synth (as well as pre-recorded drum track). It’s a slow and melancholic ballad (like most of my songs) with narrative lyrics. I am very much inspired by the dark and sad lyrics commonly found in traditional European folk and I think that translates here. I will leave the lyrical interpretation to you. I also made a music video to this that is available on my YouTube channel (see the links on my profile). Anyway, let me know what you think. I have been making music for a few years now and because it is just me involved with this project, I am constantly learning so feedback is welcome. Please enjoy!

Iam very happy to colab with him again.
Dave made the music bed.His awesome lead guitar is mid right in the mix.

Mr. Bojangles was the nick name used by Bill Robinson, a black tap dancer who appeared in many movies in the 1930's.  After his success, many black street dancers became known as Bojangles.  The song was originally written by Jerry Jeff Walker in 1968.  I tried a little sit down feet shuffle at the end.
