Tinavie is a Moscow/Paris-based indie-pop band that made its first public appearance at the end of 2008. Nothing would ever be possible without the multi-talented singer and songwriter Tina, whose mesmerizing songs and outstanding vocal drew the band members together. At the end of 2012 Rolling Stone Russia magazine named Tina among TOP10 Russia's emerging band leaders.

Nu jazz and avant-pop, trip-hop and downtempo, lounge and ambient are among the ways the Tinavie music is often described by the audience and the music critics. Not being faithful followers of any specific musical genre, Tinavie are exploring the new sonic landscapes, following nothing but their own vision of what modern independent pop music should be.

To date Tinavie have released four  studio albums and played numerous gigs around Russia and Ukraine, as well as made successful international festival and club stage appearances in France and United States; they have appeared in the same line-up with such internationally acclaimed musicians as Apparat Band, Architecture In Helsinki, Kraak & Smaak, Fallulah, dEUS and others. 

The latest Tinavie album "Terrua" was released on April 20, 2018.

I've been involved for many years as a Performer, Conductor, Composer, Arranger, Teacher and Publisher of Orchestral/Brass music. Most of my output, up to now,has been in the form of printed music for others to play but have discovered the world of DAW's, VSTi's.
Soundcloud is really opening my ears to lots of new types of styles &amp; genres. My musical taste, was already expansive, ranging from Medieval to Minimalist, from Prog-Rock to Big Band Jazz. and almost anything in between. Now I'm enjoying discovering lots of new approaches to musical communication.
Not being a chorus, verse, middle-eight type of musician; I hope I can approach the whole subject from a fresh direction, that others, hopefully, will enjoy.
