This is a shamanic ethnic sacred music journey that I played at my event 'Nataraj' at Sunset hill Sauna in Koh PhaNgan.

I felt scattered and wasn't clear about what i wanted to play.

As happens often, i thought it was a mediocre dj set and wasn't going to upload it, but once i listened to it at home, i realized it's a wonderful journey with beautiful songs and some creative transitions.

The StondHedge, AKA Renzo Alvau, is a 35 years old musician and music producer from Italy that operates from his studio in Valencia, Spain. As a self-taught musician, he started producing music at the age of 14 while recording from his garage. 

In 2016, he gained some recognition with the band “The Erzapound”, an indie-rock project where Renzo was their art director, co-composer and producer. The Erzapound accumulated million of views organically on YouTube, and went in heavy rotation throughout many college radio stations around the United States.  

Now, Renzo composes and produces his own original pieces in a style which combines his two primary influences: electronica and rock.  The unicity of his music is that it’s created and engineered to work well on the dance floor as much as sitting at the computer.
 
The relaxed parts of the songs are calming and psychedelically weird, bringing your ears into a maze of synthesizer sounds, while they slowly build up to an energetic, tight beat with a slamming kick drum and fast bass notes.

The music is mostly instrumental.   In every song, Stondhedge brings the listener through a journey of consciousness, from a calming and introspective state of mind to an animalistic re-awakening of the senses when the high-energy beat explodes.  

The studio life is very exciting as he is currently working on a new album that will be released at the end of 2021 alongside a catalogue of electronic ambient music as well.
