The single it's just the seed of #artpostcard2020 (made for Instagram): a collaborative project where different artists create content around the single, as a way of creating human connections in an increasingly individualistic world from which art is not spared.
Still Nobody Nowhere it’s a small reflection on the project and the motivation that has made me carry it out which has resulted in so much change and internal evolution in these last few months.
Still Nobody Nowhere is a declaration of intent to myself. It is a turning point, a break from my old beliefs and prejudices. Still Nobody Nowhere is to go back to look ahead. Listen more to that shy child so that he can yell at once. A place to be cool, speak slowly, or simply stare into space. Share ideas, connect and dig deep.

Hot Town - Pigs In The Street (But The Streets Belong To The People)

This has been a stormy fall, and in Finland has been already 40 days with stormy wind speeds as the average is 27 a year.  A small, but intense low pressure passed over creating wind speeds up to 31,3 m/s in the gusts and 27 m/s as average. 

I couldn’t resist recording this storm just in our backyard as it was evident when I opened the front door in the morning that this wind is going to make damage. (The picture)

Recording storms creates mostly undefined white noise that’s not very pleasant to listen. But it seems, that when the wind gets hard enough, there occurs (more or less) strange noise patterns with regular shapes that can make it sound interesting. 

In situ I could hear cars passing and chainsaws running.  I hope there’s a bit of this weird noise left in this recording, at least when listening with headphones.

And yes, when the gusts were as strongest, two trees come down. One pine on the roof of our neighbors sauna building 6.50 and an other one with the tree trunk breaking 8.28

Space might seem an empty, vast expanse, but satellites in Earth's orbit face the constant risk of collision - with other satellites and rockets, dead or alive, or with fragments of their debris.

It is now routine for operators of spacecraft in busy highways to divert their mission out of harms way. In fact at ESA, each mission flown performs on average two 'collision avoidance manoeuvres' per year.

In this podcast, episode #3 in the ESA-UN space debris series, Benjamin Bastida Virgili and Hazuki Mori discuss the cost of these manoeuvres and what can be done.
