Bio-
Born December 20, 1988 as Ivan Priego, Ivy Long grew up in the sister cities of El Paso, Texas and Juarez, Mexico. As a child his father would share music with him, mainly oldies and disco, and Ivan grew up devouring whatever came through on the radio waves. He fell in love with Hip Hop and admits to having a soft spot for ‘80s and ‘90s dance. Then, in 2008, he heard MSTRKRFT’s “Essential Mix” on BBC Radio. 
	“These are all the sounds that I’m crazy about,” remembers Ivy Long, citing MSTRKRFT as his biggest influence to try his hand at the turntable. Two years later and with a steady paycheck from the army, he began to buy equipment. Studying other DJs, Ivy Long experimented with his style and finds himself playing a mix of Electro, Hip Hop, and Progressive House. With an eclectic list of influences that range from Crookers and David Guetta to Jay Z and Travis Porter, Ivy Long has played sets all along the southern Texas border. 
	He returned to El Paso in the summer of 2011 and brought his turntables with him. He’s played numerous house parties and been offered spots at 915’s, Geske’s, Shooters, El Patron, Rockstar, and 6 Strings. Honing his skill throughout the years, Ivy Long hopes to always provide music lovers something to dance to.
