Stefan Biniak is a Berlin resident. A rather modest and quiet contemporary who for a few years now has preferred to let the music do the talking. Within a short period of time he has put his name in Europes club- and festival calendar, touring from Antwerp to Bucarest, from Saloniki to Moscow and in 2014 played at the SonneMondSterne festival.

On the 11th of July, Biniak will be playing at 18hrs Festival in Zaandam, an event with a longstanding tradition of solid line-ups directed at the rougher spectrum of dance music. As the name tells you, 18hrs indeed goes on for that long, which makes it one of the few festivals that actually continues at nighttime. Prepare for an action-packed, nonstop marathon of dancing.

Noir is re-launching his label NM2 after 18 months of absence with a great portfolio of artists and the principal release being his very own. Thus we are very happy to share the premiere of “Lumière Brillante”, one of the two tracks of the newest Noir’s EP in our premiere series.

Lumières, not only being the monumental first release on the re-launch of NM2, is one of the first tracks Noir produced back in April, since his successful self titled debut artist album released this year’s March 2015. Aside being responsible for 2011’s track ‘Around’, which with it's with its recurring tune around “What goes around will come around and come back and get you” and a remix by Solomun has absolutely conquered the dance floors, René ‘Noir’ Kristensen has an evident talent in running music labels.

NM2 is one of the two sub labels (together with Klimaks Record) under the critically acclaimed pioneering label Noir Music, which is currently the eighth ‘most charted’ label of all time (!) on Resident Advisor. It’s portfolio currently consists of stylistically diverse range of artists, still bounded by an ability to deliver quality house music, from Hot Since 82, Huxley, Oliver Giacomotto, Finnebassen, Deetron, Larse, Kevin Over, Coyu, Oxia and the label boss himself. Asked, what to expect for the future plans of the label, Noir was modestly brief, commenting that the music will speak for itself.

What is so charming, about this modest Dane is his philosophy of resisting the business thinking.“I don’t have a strategy,” he insists. “I just have a passion for sharing the music that I love.”

Im August startet deine Ausbildung, vorbei sind die Zeiten als Zeitungsjunge. 
Letztendlich beginnt für dich ein neuer Lebensabschnitt.
Ein kleiner Rückblick zeigt, es waren gute 18 bzw. 19 Jahre.
Gefüllt mit jeder Menge Spaß, Computerspielen und Erlebnissen diverser Art. Vieles haben wir schon gemeinsam durchgestanden.
Ob Diskussionen mit Mama, das putzen unserer "Wohnung", oder ganz Banale Dinge wie z.B. "Wer kann noch zu Rewe fahren".
Ich freue mich mit dir gemeinsam
dein erstes Festival (Feel) zu verbringen.
Auf weitere Geschichten aus "Dem Leben eines Hunters" und auf viele  interessante, unterhaltsame und lehrreiche Jahre mit dir.

This young producer and DJ from Spain is, without a question, one of the emerging talents to keep an eye on, regarding all that is happening in the electronic music scene. He has huge international projection and his inbred passion for music is more than proven. His devotion, since he was a teenager, towards machine-produced sounds – those that make you want to dance – has led him to dedicate most of his lifetime to music production, where his spotless technique combines perfectly with his sophisticated and rich taste for deep house sounds.

In November 2016, Vicious Magazine selected one of his works as one of the best Tech House / Deep House releases along with the music of world-known artists such as Maceo Plex, Henry Saiz and Steve Lawler. Mark has released music on imprints like Sol Selectas, Bondage Music, Akbal Music and more. As a DJ, his commitment is quite similar to what he does as producer and he has played in cities like Zurich and Ibiza.

He moves seamlessly between the rocky peaks of techno and house. However, it’s his cosmopolite, yet danceable, deep-minimal signature the one that fits better with his sonic comfort space. His call is to provoke motion from a solid and serious proposal. A soft but addictive groove, almost like velvet, and very organic; deep basslines are the ones that set the path to follow, a highly electronic leit-motiv in which emotion is the key; as well as falling into some sort of synthetic reverie, that drives us towards that magical state, in which consciousness is lost: there is no time, no space, only sounds. That is what the fascinating sonic imagery of Mark Alow is all about.

As we continue our little tradition here, whenever Christmas is approaching, I try to pause for a moment and think, and it seems like each year the world feels a bit harsher. 
But whenever I come to an event and I see people of all kinds brought together, I feel happy that we have all found this home in music.

nach geraumer habe ich mich dazu entschlossen ein neues "Tech Set" aufzunehmen. Um dies zu realisieren habe ich keine Kosten und Mühen gescheut. Ich bin davon überzeugt das best mögliche Ergebnis aus diesem Vorhaben heraus gemixt zu haben.
Kurzum die nächsten 63 Minuten werden groovig und bouncig, kombiniert mit einem Hauch Oldschool-Flavour. Für das wunderbar illustrierte Cover bedanke ich mich aus tiefstem Herzen bei meinem Buddy Finn Coi <3

@yannberthung’s podcast turned out to be the last this winter, and both the music and the title go very much in line with the winter we had. And it gets you thinking how, unaware of what is awaiting you in the months to come, you get winter with a rhythm, tense days and tangled plans matching a piece of music whose title or day of publication were chosen without you playing any role whatsoever. Then you come to think that it’s most probably you who’s trying to find those coincidences or give meaning and importance to things that happen in life. On second thought, you realize that if you didn’t do what you’re doing, this project or, for that matter, this podcast would never have been made possible. Then you think that you haven’t been thinking about all that stuff for a while now as music has taken you to a whole different place which is more about the days to come than those that have gone.
