Side A “Mr. Steinberger Upstairs” coasts along a mellow dubwise groove with low slung bassline, organic percussion, and plenty of echo before submerging deep into waves of synth & liquified SFX. Side B “Ginkgo Dub” is the trio’s offbeat stepping take on sub-heavy sound system music.

A haunted machine built from bass and dust. The Needle Wound is where horror meets rhythm—dark electronic grooves tangled in feedback, static, and decay. Every track drips with analog corrosion: deep 808s shaking the floorboards, cracked snares echoing through ghostly reverb, and turntables screaming through layers of grime. This isn’t clean music—it’s physical sound, alive and trembling. Scratches cut through low-end like knives, reversed drones drag across the stereo field, and every loop feels like a ritual gone wrong. The atmosphere is claustrophobic yet hypnotic: flickering lights, vinyl dust in the air, and the pulse of something that won’t die. Each song breathes, stalls, and gasps—haunting in its imperfection, cinematic in its collapse. The Needle Wound is the sound of haunted machines trying to remember music, one scratch at a time.
