Ektoplazm and Escape Into proudly present The Mirror, the last release by the duo Dan Flict and Werther Azevedo, from Rio de Janeiro, Brazil. 
After a three year hiatus Escape Into is back with their most adventurous release yet. Without the pressures of having to conform to a particular genre, what emerged is a blend of freestyle electronic music with strong Rock influences: they call it Trip-Rock. 
The melodies are more complex and refined than before, while the tracks twist and turn unpredictably. Their use of analogue synthesisers shines through the complex arrangements bringing an organic warmth to the whole journey. A very original trip through extraordinary and harmonious soundscapes. 
Produced with care and focus on details, it rewards repeated listens. Their deepest offering yet!

Here's what each of them has to say about "Entangled":

Stan (Sam Goodman): 
“The idea to name the track ‘Entangled’ stemmed from the concept of two artists weaving ideas together to form one whole, complete piece.  It can be viewed as entangled in terms of ideas, but also sonic qualities, like how my end of this project was mostly the acoustic end while Mitch took care of most of the digital elements.”

Scatz (Mitch Bilodeau): 
“And me being me, it's difficult to avoid my inner science nerd that also associates entanglement with quantum physics and the laws of our universe. This idea that two independent particles can entangle and then share properties regardless of how close together they are is thought-provoking and inspiring. I find it kind of related to how Sam and I worked together on this track --separated by the distance between our homes, but still bringing our individual visions together to one cohesive piece that plays back and forth within itself.”


While Stan & Scatz each have very distinct, unique sounds, their fusion is an entirely different animal altogether.  Individually, they each thrive in the realm of melodic bass music, utilizing their skills as multi-instrumentalists to record organic, original melodies on a multitude of different instruments.  It’s no surprise, then, that their collaboration follows suit and delivers a refreshing dose of originality and musicality.

“Entangled” begins with a simple acoustic guitar melody that eases the listener into a space of thoughtful contemplation, utilizing the silence between the notes to create a feeling of spaciousness.  A second guitar eventually joins in and fills those spaces with complementary plucks in a higher octave, formulating the melody that will drive the rest of the song.  Now comes the fun part- a beat comes in with creatively-timed bass kicks and enough low end to vibrate your ear wax into a slimy paste.  The way the sub-bass rolls through different frequencies and intensities makes the listener feel as though he is riding a roller coaster, as the subtle shifts and crescendos create depth and shape within the soundscape.  

“Entangled” progresses and evolves as additional layers and melodies are introduced, demonstrating the vision and technical skill of these two top-notch producers.  Grab your free download and share!

EN : The Hadracadabra compilations series marked the birth of Hadra Records back in 2004 with our very first catalogue release, the first volume of this project. Four volumes followed the development of the label, illustrating the artistic collaborations of the team with numerous artists from France and abroad.

‘Through The Storm’ is the perfect combination of progressive guitar melodies and interstellar space bass, all wrapped up into a sonic experience that perfectly exemplifies Eyes Ahead’s unique new style.  He has been digging up old, unfinished tunes and revamping them with production skills he didn't have in his arsenal when originally writing them years ago.  This is a beautiful example of how the creative process can sometimes take years for a finished piece to emerge, and we are seeing that, for Eyes Ahead's music, it is absolutely worth the wait.  This song is a masterpiece.

Severs is currently migrating to his new home of Denver, CO, leaving the east coast behind in his musical pursuits.  We have no doubt that his arrival will mark a new era for WUMP Collective, as we will have another incredibly talented musician out here playing shows in the bass music Mecca, and collaborating with our other Colorado-based musicians.  If you’re in Colorado, make sure you keep your eyes peeled for this fella on bills in the future, because we have no doubt that he will quickly begin to amass a passionate following of metalheads and bassheads out here.

Geomagnetic is excited to debut this hot new talent for a blazing four track EP set to explode on the dance floor in early September 2017. Fotis Fourountzidis, born 1983, got addicted to Goa music in 2000 at the Goa Gil Open Air Festival. After that he experienced music mixing techniques as hobby and had his first public appearance in 2007 at the famous Neraida Garden in Greece. 2013 Fotis launched his project als SHACOM DELIA, after developing his passion for making music to his purpose of live playing. Since then he is producing his own tracks with Ableton Live and is presenting his DJ set in Germany at the Butan Club, Odonien, Delta and Kunstpark. His style is Progressive Trance and Full On - Psytrance, with a 135 to 146 bpm rolling baseline, unique rhythm, flexible breaks and electrifying melodies.
