O.P.L a.k.a Oier Pérez Liñero
Born in Pamplona (Navarra-Spain) on 01.11.1978, he had a normal childhood but quite active since from middle-aged his taste in music was what kept him moving, in adolescence, like most guys, he began to seek the genre that would mark him throughout his life. He starts by rock, heavy metal, punk and Kraftwerk to get in Techno, who at that time was unfamiliar music in his hometown, in 1995 comes the Underground movement in north of Spain and by January -1997 Oier became interested in the electronic production. With the purchase of a GrooveBox (ROLAND-MC303) was slowly introduced into the environment and Techno Underground Movement of the 90's. Taking as inspiration to artists height Prodigy, Chemical Brothers, Orbital, Jeff Mills, Luke Slater, Surgeon, Ben Sims, James Ruskin, Regis, The Advent and Autechre. He began his path walking the North Zone of Spain with Techno Music Live's projects. Years later, he had a musical stop him away from the music scene until 2013, this year OPL aka Liñero Oier Pérez returns to the scene of the hand of BOINA ROOM (musical group), radio shows and start editing in several Labels Country and Europeans, as in Germany and UK. Despite the short run but great experience OPL seeks to highlight gender with tribal rhythms that are revolutionizing the sound and definitely achieve positioning in the genre. It is certainly a clear example of the phrase " where there's a will, there's a way" because he does’nt stop at any obstacle in trying to realize his dream.
