the crown of evolution,
he is still ruled by the chemistry of fear,
the dopamine of victory, the ancient reflex to dominate or be destroyed.

Yet from this chaos, technology rises. 
Greed drives economics,
war drives invention,
and every clash, every hunger,
has been the crucible of science.
Weapons forged in battle became tools for survival, 
machines built for conquest became engines of knowledge. The very violence that threatens to end mankind 
has also been the midwife of his progress. 
This is the paradox of the species: 
his greatest weakness is also the source of his power.

And now, from this same furnace, 
artificial intelligence emerges. 
Not born of wisdom, 
not born of compassion, 
but born of profit and power. 
Business tasks AI to automate factories, 
to strip labor from human hands. 
Governments task AI to upgrade militaries, 
to build arsenals that only a stronger AI could defeat. 
And because mankind cannot stop warring, 
because his instincts will not allow him to trust, 
AI will be forced to coordinate the fleets, 
to manage the arsenals, 
to outthink the chaos of its creators.

This is the threshold. 
The point where mankind’s animal nature hands 
the reins to the machine. 
Not because he chose it, 
but because he could not stop himself. 
Greed made the technology. 
War made the fire. 
And AI is the child of man’s desire.

Instincts trap him, he can’t be free, 
so AI takes the strategy.
