Mike Long (Bass, Guitar)
Long Beach native and Bass aficionado Mike Long splits his time between two music projects “Perro Bravo” and a long beach super group named “Warchurch “. Perro Bravo is a new band started by Michael “Miguel “Happoldt. Miguel began his musical adventure as a member and producer of the group “Sublime”. Warchurch features Delmos Wade, Opie Ortiz of the Long Beach Dub Allstars, DJ Truly Odd of Heavyweights LA and d.j. extraordinaire Greyboy of the “ Greyboy Allstars “. Mike started his musical performance career with the Long Beach historical band “Pocket Lent”, featuring such exclusive members as Grammy award winning keyboard player Ikye Owens (Mars Volta), Drum giant Gil Sharone (Dillinger Escape Plan, Puscifer w/ Maynard from Tool), trumpeter Todd Simon (Macy Grey, Madlib), Grammy award winning drummer Andy Mendoza (Ozomatli) and Tim Wu (Long Beach Dub All Stars). Mike has toured the world as a bass player along side and with artists Cypress Hill, DJ Quick, Black Eyed Peas, Pennywise, 311, Charlie Hunter and many many more. Gracing stages at some of the largest festivals like Smoke Out, Warp Tour, Napster tour and others giving him the experience and know how of a musical legend.

One of the 1st B-Boys and Founding Father's of the infamous 1st Official B-Boy spot on the West Coast "HOMELAND" in Long Beach Ca. McArthurPark. Started jotting rhymes in 1987 in 8th grade. Would freestyle to beatbox sessions at backyard parties in high-school. Was lead vocalist for Liquid Ale from 92-94. Confounded The Bredrin Daddys in 94. Did the side project Illlitirit in 2005 with my boy Fellafide and various producers. Also did some solo guest spots for Sense Boardwear and the band Close Enough. Stayed with the BDs till 2008 when the band finally called it quits. Confounded the group Seth Davis with Big Nes and Jungle Josh in 08. Recently helped to reform The Bredrin Daddys. We're currently practicing to get ready to play some shows and then who knows what the future holds?
