We’ve taken time to select only the best talent from the scene, with each artist bringing something different to the table each week. 

To kick things off properly, today’s sounds are provided by the rudeboy @kusp_music 🔥 

Kusp has been cooking a dynamic weave of tunes for a while now. He caught the attention of the legendary @lynxdnb via the Portsmouth scene, and in a short space of time, Lynx asked him to release a full album for Detail Recordings entitled “Arashi” - Check it if you need a multi-genre fix, from heavy half-time to BIG bad steppers. It also features some massive names: Kemo, @edwardoberon, Singing Fats, @rider-shafique and more - that’s wild for a first full album right?

His SOLITUDE mix is nothing short of exceptional. Opening with a beautifully soulful unreleased track, Kusp takes you on a journey of dubs, deep atmospheric sonics and a few classics chucked in for good measure.

2021 is his year, with releases on @serum’s mighty @soupeduprecords as well as being the first guest to drop a tune on @thesaucerecordings - we’re telling you now he’s one to keep an eye on 👀

MIX SERIES: 016 / KUSP

There’s been a lot of hype around this week’s SOLITUDE guest mix and we couldn’t be more gassed to share it with you… We present the almighty @samshaddows 👻 

He’s broken a record for our series so far, with this mix featuring TWELVE unreleased tunes from himself and colleagues on big labels, as well as a total of FIFTEEN self-produced riddims. Some of which are fresh off the DAW and have never been heard before - SOLITUDE world exclusives in full effect 🌎 

Shadows was previously known as Splinter and even back then, he was quickly recognised for his intricate layering within productions, his wide and technical soundscapes and his effortless blend of smooth liquid, complex rollers and atmospheric samples in all of his releases 🎹 

Since Shadows became his new alias, his work rate and overall skill as a DJ & producer have gone through the roof 🏠 ⬆️ 

His debut EP “Reflections” reached #3 on the @beatport D&B chart with the release dropping via our friends at @sine-audio. A few weeks later, he dropped the “Illuzion” EP with @incurzionaudio featuring a big bad collab with @exult_uk - If you haven’t checked these yet, please do so ASAP they’re fire 🔥 

He’s got another EP dropping over the next few weeks, details TBC. Follow his socials to keep up to date as the man is active in 2021 and is booked up throughout the rest of the year, especially in his new hometown Bristol and his old bits in London 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁥󠁮󠁧󠁿 

It’s also worth mentioning that he’s one of the soundest guys you’ll ever meet. Heart of gold combined with a ridiculous brain that’s wired to dedicate his energy towards to his music, friends, BMX runs and overall good human vibe ♥️

In 2011, Fedi entered the world of electronic music and went to her very first Dubstep rave. Ever since, she had big respect for people that make it all happen – DJs, Producers and Promoters. 
Somehow she found her way into drum and bass and after a few years joined the biggest dnb crew in her home country – Trident as a promoter. 

After she left Slovakia and decided to live in the UK for a while, she taught herself to mix in her bedroom. After a couple of months she got her first gig. She played gigs in countries like Slovakia, Czech Republic, Austria and the UK. In her mixes you can hear deep techy & stompy 
sound with occasional liquid vibe. Lately she got herself into music production, where she’s been learning from the producer Arkoze all the basics. They have a couple tunes done already and are currently working on the 
EP as well as they started their 6weekly mix series ‘Deep Within’.

An artist who has been speed running up the ranks in popularity with releases on prestigious and respected labels such as Dispatch Recordings and Flexout Audio, and a multitude of features already on under his belt on the Yamatai imprint solidifying himself as one of our labels most successful and favourite artists.

We can now happily announce Acris' return to the label with his absolutely outrageous two track club smasher ‘Dog Funk / Badman Sound.

The king of sound design is back after a short hiatus. Since his last appearance on the highly acclaimed Unseen Forces EP back in December Leon has been on a mission of pure dominance in the Drum & Bass scene. Releasing banger after banger. The budding Austrian producer cannot be stopped and is a ever evolving artist, with each release out doing his last. With recent success over on our good friends over at Transparent Audio and native Austrian label Empathy Audio, Leon has been paving a way for his name across the globe and we love to see it!

It’s been so refreshing to sit back and what his progression over the last few years. Starting with his debut track ‘Let It Go’ back in April last year which was a heavily focused liquid anthem that took the world by storm then rolling to December with arguably his most popular release ever his ‘Unseen Forces EP’. Two massively different styles which further showcased Leon’s immense ability to write any style to an outstanding quality.

‘Dog Funk / Badman Sound’ are once again a showcase of this versatility that Acris possesses. One track that is heavily focused on aggressive basses, sharp transitions and thumping drums while the other is styled more to the old foghorn style with a new age twist.

Acris is back with two new club tracks, both outrageous and ready to cause another stir!
