Running soundtrack

There’s been a lot of hype around this week’s SOLITUDE guest mix and we couldn’t be more gassed to share it with you… We present the almighty @samshaddows 👻 

He’s broken a record for our series so far, with this mix featuring TWELVE unreleased tunes from himself and colleagues on big labels, as well as a total of FIFTEEN self-produced riddims. Some of which are fresh off the DAW and have never been heard before - SOLITUDE world exclusives in full effect 🌎 

Shadows was previously known as Splinter and even back then, he was quickly recognised for his intricate layering within productions, his wide and technical soundscapes and his effortless blend of smooth liquid, complex rollers and atmospheric samples in all of his releases 🎹 

Since Shadows became his new alias, his work rate and overall skill as a DJ & producer have gone through the roof 🏠 ⬆️ 

His debut EP “Reflections” reached #3 on the @beatport D&B chart with the release dropping via our friends at @sine-audio. A few weeks later, he dropped the “Illuzion” EP with @incurzionaudio featuring a big bad collab with @exult_uk - If you haven’t checked these yet, please do so ASAP they’re fire 🔥 

He’s got another EP dropping over the next few weeks, details TBC. Follow his socials to keep up to date as the man is active in 2021 and is booked up throughout the rest of the year, especially in his new hometown Bristol and his old bits in London 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁥󠁮󠁧󠁿 

It’s also worth mentioning that he’s one of the soundest guys you’ll ever meet. Heart of gold combined with a ridiculous brain that’s wired to dedicate his energy towards to his music, friends, BMX runs and overall good human vibe ♥️

After a little break we're back with a special guest on board.
All the way from West Yorkshire, we are lucky enough to have MD or Mark Dinimal who is well known on the scene for some time already. With amazing stuff he has released as a solo artists but also as one third of successful trio Data 3, there is no doubt that MD is bringing top quality into our mix series.

For the first first half hour ou can enjoy our usual b2b set (Arkoze & Fedi Minikin)playing some forthcoming stuff from ourselves and other talents on the scene. Then the following hour belongs to the one and only Mark Dinimal (MD) who also produces as one third of Data 3

Ahead of his set at Junglism Scotland this Saturday, we are delighted to have Kaseon (Illict / Awdio Club) put down a mix for our Friday mix series. Co-promoter of Illicit, Kaseon has been throwing parties across Inverschneck for over three years with regular sets across the town and at the annual Shenanigan Festival!
