The aim of my Music is not recreational. It is a Spirit(ual) tool. It is meant to instill a pause in your day, for you to close your eyes, reconnect with the eternal flame of the heart, to induce a trance, to lose the mind... re-presencing and re-establishing relations with your inner eternal Flame. When we clear ourselves of the static, the guidance is clear.

Biyah, My Darvish

A CA born 1st generation American, Alexander was raised on "sonati" folk Persian music. Classically trained by Vahid-Reza Bayat in the lineage of Maestro Darvish-Khan and Maestro Lotfi.
Alexander uses the foundations of Persian music "Radif" modal systems and with his distinguished sound, uniquely incorporates them with electronic soundscapes to induce trance states and a deep sense of heart presence in listeners. These ancient modal systems and melodies are a science of the heart, which Alexander hopes to continue introducing to western ears. 
The Persian Tar is a Spiritual tool. His music has become his Yoga (union), and with nicknaming his instrument "Tara", has established himself in "TaraYoga".

Started my love of music back when I went clubbing in London and Ibiza, went to the USA and as much as I loved it in the USA the clubbing just wasn’t like it was back in the uk. The British are some of the best music lovers and DJs.
My love of all sorts of music keeps me going now that I live back in England down in sunny Brighton. 
If I didn’t have my music I honestly don’t know what sort of a life I would have lived.  
I’ve never heard so much amazing music over the years.
