A mix that we made with my DJ Crew Kommittén to represent the winter of 08/09. My fav part is the middle. Hard and pumping, I love it. 

A few tracks in the mix are really old, but hey, quality has no expiration date.

Dissonansens Symfoni 2

I was going for a Buchla Easel-esque feel with this. It came out a bit repetitive and irritating at certain moments but I've learnt a few things along the way.
This is a 100% modular A-100 performance, recorded live, no multitracking.
All sequencing by A-160-2, A-160, A-166 > A-138m > A-151 > A-156. Transposed via external CV keyboard.
Sound: Richter Oscillator II Sine out back into PM in via an A-132-3 (the wavefolding bit) into A-101-2 LPG. Envelopes provided by A-142-4
Reverb: Mr Black Eternal Gold Modified back into A-119 > A-116 > A-103.
Mixed on a good old Mackie CR1604 mixer.

Unintentionally this sequence sounds Boards of Canada / Alessandro Cortini like, but I guess this is down to the methods used to build the melody. 4 note sequence transposed up and down in real time.

5 Step Sequence on a Doepfer Matrix Mixer (A-152 > A-138m > A-151)

"Sequencing Without Sequencers" is my research into composing on a Doepfer A-100 analog modular eurorack system without using any actual sequencers.

Here's an attempt using a very simple chain:

A-143-4 Square Out (Clock) > A-152 Clock In, A-160 Trig In & A-160-2 Trig In
A-152 Dig Out 2,3 & 5 > A-138m Matrix Mixer Inputs 1, 2 & 4. Resets on step 6 (5 step sequence)
A-160-2 Clock Divider /7 Out > A-138m Input 3.
A-138m A Out > A-156 Dual Quantizer
A-149-1 transposing the sequence every 16 steps
