Pasiphae spent her early years in Greece but is now based in the Netherlands, where she has become a driving force on the West Coast’s legendary electronic scene. It’s no mean feat to make your mark on such a famous musical landscape, but her openness, experimentation and curiousness are what makes her such an exciting talent. Her sets can go from raw, messed up drum tracks to spaced out disco house via electro, leftfield techno, EBM, new beat and acid. She can rock a sweaty room in the dead of night, or warm up an early crowd with equal style.
She has released on Artificial Dance a six-track solo EP "Siphax" and on Bio Rhythm alongside Intergalatic Gary and recently, she has been installed as resident at Noorderling, a new club on a boat which used to host the old pirate radio station Veronica.
From De School to Kaiku in Helsinki, radio shows on Red Light Radio, IFM, Operator and sets at Dekmantel Festival, Pasiphae is making waves around Europe.

For November's edition of the EXE Mix Series we present to you an hour long mix from one of the Godfathers of sonic grief: Mick Harris 

Mick 'Mongoose' Harris is known for a number of acclaimed projects in the underground bass music community. With over 30 years under his tactical fishing belt Harris has come to be defined by his uniquely menacing dread-laden sounds with acts like Lull, Fret and of course Scorn. Harris doesn't shy away from telling it how it is with his compositions often meandering into almost lo-fi punk territory. 

More recently Harris has released an EP (Feather) and an upcoming album (Cafe Mor)under his Scorn Moniker for long-time collaborator and US based record label Ohm Resistance.

We are now about to leave the solar system, catching some radio signals from the outer rim of the human-made radio halo. Our first destination to the coldest place in the known universe is a bright and warm shiny star called Regulus, the main star of the constellation Leo.

ESO 172-7 Third Transmission

On our journey to the coldest place in the known universe, we got lost in a void - a huge, dark, and cold area without any baryonic matter. The navigation system failed and we stuck in this empty bubble, detecting no radiation from other stars or galaxies. At this lost place, we encounter an alien lifeform that has a message for us… fortunately, we are not humans anymore…

*Astronomers developed a mosaic of the distant Universe, called the Hubble Legacy Field, that documents 16 years of observations from the NASA/ESA Hubble Space Telescope. The image contains 200,000 galaxies that stretch back through 13.3 billion years of time to just 500 million years after the Big Bang.
The new set of Hubble images, created from nearly 7,500 individual exposures, is the first in a series of Hubble Legacy Field images. The image comprises the collective work of 31 Hubble programs by different teams of astronomers. Hubble has spent more time on this small area than on any other region of the sky, totaling more than 250 days, representing nearly three-quarters of a year. The team is working on a second set of images, totaling more than 5,200 Hubble exposures, in another area of the sky.
