Esoteric Guest Mix Series #19 - Tobscure

Musical project that emerges from the immediate synchrony forged between Tobscure and Maska in late 2015. Since then, its creative flow has focused in producing electronic music geared aimed at danceable hedonism. In the true spirit of melodic techno, dark and deep, their tracks convey the unequivocal aura that characterizes the latest releases in the techno sphere with their great sensitivity and finesse, suitable for the most discerning ears.

Tobscure Maska sound unique but even if they might be unknown to the general club-going public, their tracks will be easily recognizable for the specific combination of sound details that embody and define the musical character of the Tobscure-Maska union.

Always framed in the dimension of an emotional and ethereal techno, their sound will help you escape everyday life through the fast track. In addition to their original productions like “Heavenly”, "Apus", "Vimana" or "Viserion" amongst others, they have collaborated with Lvna Nox in her track “Pacific Sea” and produced her remix “Corvid”.

Their musical roots lie in the techno of the late 80’s and early 90’s, but mostly, their darkest musical tendencies were inspired by EBM and Industrial music. Besides their proclaimed admiration for a varied array of musical styles which has colourfully enriched their creative attitudes towards their preferred genre, it’s the melodic techno that doesn’t hold back but is suitable for the most ambitious flights what is being launched itself to explore the fascinating universe of the deepest, darkest, club-style electronic music.

Proyecto musical surgido de la sintonía inmediata forjada entre Tobscure y Maska, que se gestó a finales de 2015. Desde entonces fluye su vena creativa en la producción de música electrónica orientada al hedonismo bailable. Situados en coordenadas del techno melódico, oscuro y profundo, sus tracks desprenden ese aura inconfundible que caracteriza las producciones más actuales en la órbita del techno dotado de una gran sensibilidad y finura, apto para los oídos más cultivados en la materia. 

Tobscure Maska suenan inconfundibles aunque puedan resultar aún desconocidos para el gran público conocedor del circuito de clubs, pero sus tracks serán fácilmente reconocibles por el amalgama de detalles sonoros que destilan y definen la personalidad musical propia de la comunión Tobscure-Maska.

Siempre encuadrados en el plano de un techno emocional y etéreo, apto para evadirse de la realidad mundana por la vía rápida, además de sus producciones propias como "Heavenly", "Apus", "Vimana" o "Viserion", entre otras, han colaborado con Lvna Nox en el track "Pacífic Sea" y realizando su remix "Corvid".

Sus raíces musicales son el techno de finales de los años 80 y principios de los 90, pero sobre todo fueron marcados por el EBM y la música de corte Industrial, que es de donde heredaron su vertiente musical más oscura. Aunque se declaran amantes de muy diversos estilos de música que les ha servido para enriquecerse como creadores de musica abonados a su faceta predilecta, el techno más melódico sin demasiadas concesiones pero apto para el mayor de los vuelos, lanzándose de lleno a explorar el fascinante universo de la electrónica más profunda, oscura y con esencia de club.
