Alexis Le-Tan is a dear friend of ours, and has shared a musical sympatico with our family for over a decade, regularly collaborating with the ESP Institute and Blackdisco. So it is with great pleasure that we christen the Listening Sessions series with this beautifully melancholic mix from Monsieur L'Agent himself.

Hey Convict! is a duo originating from Melbourne, Australia and over many years they've championed a sound that we happily cannot describe. Tamas Jones now resides in Sydney and Jason Evans in New York City, but their telepathic vibe is stronger than any hemisphere can break. Enjoy this mix they call Gone Troppo—an oldie but a goody finding its final resting place in our Listening Sessions series.

Since having crashed on the floor in Lovefingers' downtown Manhattan flat for over a month, back in 2007, Steele and the ESP Institute have maintained a robust dialogue in terms of forgotten and rare music from around the world. You may consider this mix an introduction to an enlightened mind.
