space•cast 12 comes from Argentina's Forest on Stasys, producer of beautifully deep, hypnotic and rhythmic techno records on labels like Lowless, Harmony and his own Danza Nativia. 

He's also an extremely accomplished DJ and here we have an hour of skilfully crafted and immersive broken beat and halftime grooves, a trip through a subterranean forest.

Cobahn is a Korean-born DJ now based in Amsterdam. She began her musical journey as part of Seoul's deep spiritual techno scene, regularly performing at Vurt and various parties in the city. Since moving to Amsterdam, Cobahn has continued to explore and expand her musical horizons, drawing inspiration from both Eastern philosophy and the awe-inspiring beauty of nature. 

As a rising talent in the techno scene, Cobahn's hypnotic sets have already caught the attention of the scene. With her deeply spiritual approach to music, she is set to become a significant force in the deep techno community.

Next up in our mix series is Garçon, co-founder of Amenthia Recordings, and an important figure both in the local underground scene, and in the experimental psychedelic scene globally - with a unique fondness for rhythmically adventurous sounds from the outer edges of the electronic spectrum. 

This mix dives into experimental atmospheres, rhytmical excursions and trippy soundscapes - which shows not only his wide record collection, but most of all an elaborate web of synapses between the different moods and textures. He teases music gradually and deliberately, layering hypnotic grooves atop one another and subtly modulating the mood, with this delayed gratification leading to a far greater payoff.

Perpendicular 2023 - Medi

The ICE LP was created by Maxim Wolzyn over a period of three years, mostly whilst touring throughout Germany by train as part of the Günther Lause duo. Spread over eight tracks, the LP poetically captures the complex networks of railways and tunnel systems that carry with them the thoughts and feelings of millions of people, aspiring to attain an overall impression of the collective consciousness of a society on the move. 

Inspired sonically by the soundscapes of urban spaces, rail stations and the pulsing motions of modern mass transportation, various field recordings are mixed with reverberating synthesizer patterns and percussive composition, creating a mixture of straight forward techno and dystopian ambiences. 

While being reminiscent of Berlin's dub techno tradition it also transcends the typical club context, moving into the realm of the intimate and personal.

Recorded during the early hours of Sunday morning at Garage Noord at the Omen Wapta Weekender, this live set from Formant Value captures the essence of a weekend that transcended the club experience—where sound, space, and shared energy merged into something truly transformative.

Opening in slow motion, the set unfolds with a deep, psychedelic ambient current—echoes, pulses, and dub textures forming a wide sonic horizon. What follows is a steady, organic rise into tribal techno rhythms and hi-tech structures, maintaining a sense of spaciousness even at its most kinetic.

It’s a set that mirrors the architecture of the night itself: meditative, then elevating, then dissolving again. There are no sharp corners—just flow. Time felt suspended. Movement turned internal. And in the foggy warmth of the dancefloor, listeners were gently guided through a collective dreamspace.

Formant Value is known for his unique & sophisticated sound, that defies easy categorisation whilst nodding in the direction of downtempo, dub and IDM, with elements of D’n’B, trance and techno. His music has been released by a number of labels including Lowless Records, Well Street Records, Rgd tribe and Annulled Music. Adept at sustaining the fine tension between dancefloor energy and audiophile precision of intent home listening, Formant Value brings a uniquely fresh take on contemporary club music.

We are thrilled to launch our new Magician On Duty Journey Series!

We are kicking off our Journey series with @dj-gary-h

By the time he was 19, he found the perfect opportunity to perform on stage and starting residencies, what he had always dreamed of (playing and sharing electronic music), when he was assigned as the resident DJ at White --The first and only club in Aleppo for Electronic Music--
Having achieved numerous successful sets at events and residencies, he went on to be recognized by developing a new scene in the city.
Since then, he has done the warm-up and follow-up sets for many international acts and DJs.

Moving to Armenia in 2013 was inspirational, Armenia is known for rich music culture in general and the young generation of electronic music artists and producers. After countless residencies in Yerevan's venues such as Kami, Oak, That Place, Eden and Calumet he was in the heart of the country’s underground scene. 

Moving to Montreal, Canada in 2015 was a perfect decision for him, as the city is widely known for the diverse and huge art culture background in general and the underground music scene specifically.
