Although Kent-based producer Maths Time Joy has been a firm blogosphere favourite for a few years now, he only offered up his first official release last month.

The luscious, melodic 'Atlantis', released on London imprint Tigermilk Recordings, followed a host of free EPs such as 'Hideaway' and 'Lightyears' and a bunch of remixes for the likes of Karma Kid, Submotion Orchestra and Kastle.

Im Fokus steht dabei die Liebe zur Musik und ihre Wirkung auf das Sein. Das Handwerk hierzu lernte Saskia schon in früher Kindheit am Klavier und Alex in seinem Soloprojekt ‘Minimal Lounge’. Durch Releases auf Ihrem eigenem Label Underyourskin Records und anderen namhaften Labels wie Katermukke, Hanse Hertz und Plötzlich Musik hat sich das Duo mittlerweile einen guten Namen gemacht.

Just Emma presents 'After We Lost' Afterhour Sounds Podcast Nr.67

The idea behind this track was thought up by the main man Native! 

His inspiration came when he watched the short film Sun Day. He decided to write the lyrics based on an imaginary letter from the little boy to his sister and we built the track around this. If you haven't seen the short then follow the link bellow, mute it (no disrespect to the original composer!) and press play on this. It's emotional believe me! 

The vocals were sung by native and the track was constructed by my self. As the song was so emotional and to tie it together with the a side of this release we got Yipping in to play some live Erhu (Chinese violin) for us and it sounds incredible.
