For our first installment we are beyond excited to present to you a very special contribution, by our dear friend Polygonia. A tense buildup and strong atmosphere made to lure you into a percussive vortex that will spit you out into the depths of a dark and humid rainforest. Surrender yourself to a ritual sacrifice guided by Polygonia’s rythmical precision and sensibility.

Polygonia is a multitalented artist based in Munich, where she runs the formidable record label IO together with her crew. Her sound is driven by a mystic, deep and organic character enriched by her studies in various acoustic instruments. She has repeatedly demonstrated to be a force to be reckoned with through her impeccable body of work released on some of the finest labels around. To celebrate 20 years of building Labyrinths, we have decided to release one set from each of the last ten years. I've chosen ten timeless moments that both document the history of the event and provide a historical snapshot of underground electronic music over the past ten years.

We have chosen a broad range--from closing techno sets, to morning ambient sets, to experimental sets to close the night. Each set represents a different side of the event. Taken together, they present a portrait of a decade of music.

The Labyrinthの20周年を記念して、過去10年間を振り返り、それぞれの年からひとつのミックスをピックアップすることにしました。イベントの歴史を記録すると同時に、過去10年間のアンダーグラウンドエレクトロニックミュージックの歴史的なスナップショットを提供します。今聞いても色褪せない、タイムレスな極上のミックスをお楽しみください。

テクノのクロージングセットから、朝のアンビエントセット、そして夜を締めくくるエクスペリメンタルセットまで幅広いセレクトですが、どのセットもThe Labyrinthの欠かせない側面を表しており、ここ10年におけるエレクトロニック ミュージックの全容とも言えるでしょう。

We have been eager to share this new chapter of our Podcast Series with you for a little while. It comes courtesy of the Basel-based Timnah Sommerfeldt, the empress of all things occult and hypnotic in the realm of electronica 🔮

Part of the well-respected amenthia recordings crew, co-host of Home Radio she runs together with Garçon and a resident at Elysia ~ arguably one of the most loved clubs in Europe ~ Timnah is a well seasoned DJ with strong sensibility in navigating the the deeper, headier waters of techno and atmospheric bass 💫

Timnah’s introspective contribution is a perfectly balanced blend of deep, aqueous drones and murky downtempo carving out and holding space for the patiently emerging stormy rhythms taking the reins for most part in the second half of the mix. Time to brace yourselves for a one way journey into the maelstrom. Safe travels, friends 🌝🌚

This set represented a moment of calm before the storms returned on that special weekend which we will never forget.

Avsluta (Lucie Stepankova) moves with quiet precision, tracing the lines between ambient stillness and rhythmic motion. As a London-based sound artist, DJ, live performer, and curator, she explores the spaces where sound lingers and transforms.

Her set at Mostra Festival 2023 left a lasting impression. A seamless journey through moods and tempos, carried with effortless elegance. It felt only right to invite her to Unrush, and now here we are finally.

For this mix, Lucie dives into deeper ambient landscapes, showing the same thoughtful sensitivity that shapes her work. Over the past decade, Lucie has refined her musical voice behind the counter at Phonica Records, guiding London’s ambient and downtempo seekers most Saturdays, building connections, sharing music, and fostering community along the way.

She’s the founder of Introspective Electronics, a platform for radio shows, guest mixes, and listening events. Together with producer and DJ Alicia, she also curates Terra Obscura, an intimate club night series devoted to slower, introspective sounds.

This DJ set holds that same spirit: a quiet invitation to slow down and listen...
