ਹੇ ਸੱਜਣ! ਹੇ ਪਿਆਰੇ! ਤੇਰੀ ਸੋਇ ਠੰਢ ਪਾਣ ਵਾਲੀ ਹੈ (ਭਾਵ, ਤੇਰੀਆਂ ਕਥਾਂ ਕਹਾਣੀਆਂ ਸੁਣ ਕੇ ਮੈਨੂੰ ਠੰਡ ਪੈਂਦੀ ਹੈ); ਮੈਂ ਤੈਥੋਂ ਸਦਾ ਸਦਕੇ ਹਾਂ, ਕੁਰਬਾਨ ਹਾਂ ।

ਬਲਿ ਬਲਿ ਜਾਂਉ ਹਉ ਬਲਿ ਬਲਿ ਜਾਂਉ ॥

(ਹੇ ਮਿੱਤਰ!) ਤੇਰਾ ਨਾਮ (ਮੈਨੂੰ) ਸਭ ਤੋਂ ਵਧੀਕ ਪਿਆਰਾ (ਲੱਗਦਾ) ਹੈ,
I am a sacrifice, a devoted sacrifice, a dedicated and devoted sacrifice, to You.

ਨੀਕੀ ਤੇਰੀ ਬਿਗਾਰੀ ਆਲੇ ਤੇਰਾ ਨਾਉ ॥੧॥ ਰਹਾਉ ॥

(ਇਸ ਨਾਮ ਦੀ ਬਰਕਤ ਨਾਲ ਹੀ, ਦੁਨੀਆ ਦੀ ਕਿਰਤ ਵਾਲੀ) ਤੇਰੀ ਦਿੱਤੀ ਹੋਈ ਵਿਗਾਰ ਭੀ (ਮੈਨੂੰ) ਮਿੱਠੀ ਲੱਗਦੀ ਹੈ ।੧।ਰਹਾਉ।
Slavery to You is so sublime; Your Name is noble and exalted. ||1||Pause||

ਕੁਜਾ ਆਮਦ ਕੁਜਾ ਰਫਤੀ ਕੁਜਾ ਮੇ ਰਵੀ ॥
kujaa aamadh kujaa rafatee kujaa me ravee ||
(ਹੇ ਸੱਜਣ!) ਨਾਹ ਤੂੰ ਕਿਤੋਂ ਆਇਆ, ਨਾਹ ਤੂੰ ਕਿਤੇ ਕਦੇ ਗਿਆ ਅਤੇ ਨਾਹ ਤੂੰ ਜਾ ਰਿਹਾ ਹੈਂ (ਭਾਵ, ਤੂੰ ਸਦਾ ਅਟੱਲ ਹੈਂ) 
Where did you come from? Where have You been? And where are You going?

ਦ੍ਵਾਰਿਕਾ ਨਗਰੀ ਰਾਸਿ ਬੁਗੋਈ ॥੧॥
dhavaiaarikaa nagaree raas bugoiee ||1||
ਦੁਆਰਕਾ ਨਗਰੀ ਵਿਚ ਰਾਸ ਭੀ ਤੂੰ ਆਪ ਹੀ ਪਾਂਦਾ ਹੈਂ (ਭਾਵ, ਕਿਸ਼ਨ ਭੀ ਤੂੰ ਆਪ ਹੀ ਹੈਂ) ।੧।
Tell me the truth, in the holy city of Dwaarikaa. ||1||

ਖੂਬੁ ਤੇਰੀ ਪਗਰੀ ਮੀਠੇ ਤੇਰੇ ਬੋਲ ॥

ਹੇ ਯਾਰ! ਸੋਹਣੀ ਤੇਰੀ ਪੱਗ ਹੈ (ਭਾਵ, ਸੋਹਣਾ ਤੇਰਾ ਸਰੂਪ ਹੈ) ਤੇ ਪਿਆਰੇ ਤੇਰੇ ਬਚਨ ਹਨ
How handsome is your turban! And how sweet is your speech.

ਦ੍ਵਾਰਿਕਾ ਨਗਰੀ ਕਾਹੇ ਕੇ ਮਗੋਲ ॥੨॥
dhavaiaarikaa nagaree kaahe ke magol ||2||
ਨਾਹ ਤੂੰ ਸਿਰਫ਼ ਦੁਆਰਕਾ ਵਿਚ ਹੈਂ ਤੇ ਨਾਹ ਤੂੰ ਸਿਰਫ਼ ਮੁਸਲਮਾਨੀ ਧਰਮ ਦੇ ਕੇਂਦਰ ਮੱਕੇ ਵਿਚ ਹੈਂ (ਭਾਵ, ਤੂੰ ਹਰ ਥਾਂ ਹੈਂ) ।੨।

ਚੰਦਂੀ ਹਜਾਰ ਆਲਮ ਏਕਲ ਖਾਨਾਂ ॥
cha(n)dhee(n) hajaar aalam ekal khaanaa(n) ||
(ਸ੍ਰਿਸ਼ਟੀ ਦੇ) ਕਈ ਹਜ਼ਾਰਾਂ ਮੰਡਲਾਂ ਦਾ ਤੂੰ ਇਕੱਲਾ (ਆਪ ਹੀ) ਮਾਲਕ ਹੈਂ 
You alone are the Lord of so many thousands of worlds.

ਹਮ ਚਿਨੀ ਪਾਤਿਸਾਹ ਸਾਂਵਲੇ ਬਰਨਾਂ ॥੩॥
ham chinee paatisaeh saa(n)vale baranaa(n) ||3||
ਹੇ ਪਾਤਸ਼ਾਹ! ਇਹੋ ਜਿਹਾ ਹੀ ਸਾਉਲੇ ਰੰਗ ਵਾਲਾ ਕ੍ਰਿਸ਼ਨ ਹੈ (ਭਾਵ, ਕ੍ਰਿਸ਼ਨ ਭੀ ਤੂੰ ਆਪ ਹੀ ਹੈਂ) ।੩।
You are my Lord King, like the dark-skinned Krishna. ||3||

ਅਸਪਤਿ ਗਜਪਤਿ ਨਰਹ ਨਰਿੰਦ ॥
asapat gajapat nareh nari(n)dh ||
ਤੂੰ ਆਪ ਹੀ ਸੂਰਜ-ਦੇਵਤਾ ਹੈਂ, ਤੂੰ ਆਪ ਹੀ ਇੰਦ੍ਰ ਹੈਂ, ਤੇ ਤੂੰ ਆਪ ਹੀ ਬ੍ਰਹਮਾ ਹੈਂ
You are the Lord of the sun, Lord Indra and Lord Brahma, the King of men.

ਨਾਮੇ ਕੇ ਸ੍ਵਾਮੀ ਮੀਰ ਮੁਕੰਦ ॥੪॥੨॥੩॥

A Guldasta when translated to English refers to a Boquet, in this context, it's a bouquet of Raags. A Guldasta usually begins with the Raag in which the Shabad has been composed. Then, it transitions into different Raags within the same Shabad. Usually, more than three Raags are sung in a Guldatsa.

With Guru Ji’s grace, I would like present to you a divine shabad from Bhai Nand Lal Ji’s pious poetry- ‘Zindaginama’. It is thought that this Persian poem was written upon the poet’s arrival at Anandpur and presented as a gift to Guru Gobind Singh Ji. Hearing it with admiration, Guru Sahib became fond of it’s content and renamed it from ‘Bandaginama (Guidance of Spirituality)’ to ‘Zindaginama (Guidance of life)’ 

At a time where the whole world is suffering, let’s all ask Akaalpurakh to bestow their ILAHEE NOOR on all of us.
