Tribal Bass is an umbrella term for all music with a downtempo feel and a breaking groove, that combines progressive sound design with organic elements and deep sub-bass. PsyDub, GlitchHop, post dubstep, deep-step, global beats, ethnic trap, world bass, neuro-funk, raga-bass, hard-wave, farmer-trap, ... you name it, if it slaps and it represents the globalized music community it can be part of our co-creation.

For Mabon (the "end of summer" celebration) we'd like to surrender to the water and the West, the cooling down and finding direction, the becoming soft and starting a journey within again, reaching for the stillness and cool down of winter times. "Into The Flow" is a representation of accepting the cycles and flow of life, and understanding the flow of sound, our bodies and nature.

Mindspring music presents: Klaada - The Remixes [MSM129]

In a stunning collaborative effort between label veteran Klaada and an array of talented producers bringing forth their own renditions of his tracks, Mindspring Music presents Klaada: The Remixes. Join us as we journey to through fresh visions of familiar psychedelic landscapes.

The collection includes reworks from label veterans and debut contributions from new artists to the Mindspring family.

First up, we settle in for the ride by revisiting compositions from 2019's Antipodes of The Self-Conscious Mind [MSM079].

What better way to kick things off than taking a listen as label veterans Looney Grandpas take us through their groovy, dubby vision of Celestial Temple?

Ramping up the energy from the original rendition of Interdimensional Bamboozle, we have label newcomer Incredible Science taking us through some solid, driving mid-tempo vibes.

Up next we have another label veteran, Gleekch, taking the reins on Voyage Into the Supernatural. Here, we find ourselves immersed in thick Eastern vibes with some exciting twists and turns, adding a fresh voice for the track.

Taking a slightly more relaxed approach to the track Teonanacatl, Leo Nordmann takes us though a playful rendition that maintains the track's original energy while giving it a unique voice.

Veering off the path a bit into a trippier, darker territory, we get to hear label veteran Elishman's rendition of Encounters With Other Levels of Reality.

To finish off the Antipodes remixes, Mindspring welcomes Sol8, giving us their ethno-heavy rendition of Teonanacatl. They offer another fresh and unique perspective on the track.

Moving on, we have two remixed tracks from Klaada's 2018 album Breaking the Cycle [MSM044].

First we have respected psychedelic electronica producer Jedidiah taking charge of Full Moon, giving it a slightly darker, more groovy mid-tempo twist.

Finally, to finish off the journey through the collaborative efforts, Klaada himself presents us with a hidden gem from his repertoire, a rare demo version of Water. This driving, emotionally intelligent track is a great way to bring this release to a close.

We are proud to present this solid collection of great remixes from many talented artists who put their unique spin onto the original releases. Be sure to check out the two original albums available in our catalogue, as there are a great many awesome tracks there to be discovered.

לזכרו של אסיף לוגר ז"ל שנפל בקרבות בעזה במלחמת חרבות ברזל.
את אסיף הכרתי כמה חודשים לפני גיוסו לצבא, 
אסיף פנה אלי לאחר שראה אותי מופיע בתל אביב וכתב לי הודעה מלאה בנחישות ובקשה להיפגש איתי לשיעורים פרטיים כי יש לו חלום לדעת לייצר מוזיקה אלקטרונית.
על אף שאני לא עושה שיעורים פרטיים, ההודעה הנחושה שלו לא השאירה אצלי מקום לספק ונםגשנו לשיעור הראשון, שם הכרתי אותו לראשונה.
אחרי שלושה שיעורים  גיליתי איש, גבר וגם קצת ילד  והבנתי שמדובר כאן על אדם מוכשר בטירוף עם חלום גדול, רק שבמקרה הזה, הוא אשכרה מגשים  את החלום.
בשיעור השלישי ביקשתי מאסיף לעצור עם יחסי המורה והתלמיד וביקשתי ממנו פשוט להמשיך להגיע לאולפן מתי שבא, להמשיך להגיע, ללמוד כדי שיוכל לכבוש את העולם מיד שישתחרר מהצבא., 
באמת האמנתי בזה.
הכשרון שלו, הבגרות,הנאמנות למקור, הכשרון והמרדף אחרי החלום הגדול מילאו אותי בגאווה,
גאווה לילד בן 19 שלפתע,כאשר אני בגיל 40, עם ילדים משפחה, עסק וחיים צפופים הצליח ללמד אותי את השיעור הכי גדול שלי: 
ללכת אחרי החלומות, להיות נאמן לעצמי ולחיות את החיים כאילו אין מחר.
ב-6 לאוקטובר, יום שישי, כמה שעות לפני שעזב את הבית בפעם האחרונה, עוד בילינו יחד, אני, ולריה אשתי ואסיף בפסטיבל בצפון שם ניגנתי. 
כי אסיף כמו אסיף, חי את החיים עד הרגע האחרון כאילו אין מחר.
לפני 3 חודשים אסיף הצטרף אלי לאולפן לסשן יצירה יחד עם יונתן נגן הגיטרה שלי,
אסיף נכנס לחדר, לא חיכה אפילו רגע ואמר לשנינו שיש לו רעיון. 
אנחנו כמובן הקשבנו וזה מה שהוא אמר -ציטוט:
שמעתי כל הדרך לכאן את סנטנה, ועלה לי רעיון לעשות קטע בסגנון סנטנה ואז לשבור לו את הצורה עם האלקטרוני..
יונתן ואני הסתכלנו אחד על השני במבט מרוצה ואמרנו לאסיף שאנחנו לרשותו, שיתחיל לביים את הסשן.
וככה היה, 
לילה שלם של יצירה אינטנסיבית, פרי דמיונו של אסיף שמרוב התרגשות איבד את המפתח לרכב שלו ואילץ את עידן לפתוח את הבוקר בנסיעה לתל אביב, כדי לחלץ את הילד חזרה הביתה. 

בשבוע האחרון השלמתי את היצירה הזו,
ושילבתי לתוכה את מילות הסיכום של אסיף רגע אחרי שחגג את החיים בפעם האחרונה.
הוא אמנם סיכם את המסיבה, אבל אני שמעתי שם סיכום של חיים שלמים.

life Journey - In memory of Asif Luger (R.I.P)

While I was travelling in Colombia I stayed for a few weeks in Guatapé in Casa Kayam Hostel. There I wrote the song Viajera in an amazing environment while enjoying a great time with inspiring people.
With the help of Pablo Casillas Vera, who plays the guitar amazing for my song and Juan Yanajara that played the bass, made the percussion part and recorded the song with me, I finished now my first own song here in Mexico Zipolite.

With the rich poetry and vocals of Akacia, Tribal Alchemy pays homage to the Elements of Air, Earth, and Fire in this EP. 

Tribal Alchemy, after venturing to the birth place of the Andes, found himself beautifully trapped there as a result of the global pandemic. This EP is a tribute to the people and places of the snow-capped peaks of Patagonia, and brings forward moments of captivating beauty, tempered with the raw power of the forever present volcanos, smoking and rumbling incessantly in those captivating and isolated lands.
