Hey everyone! I’m back with a redux of one of my older but more popular videos: my fanmade Columbina weekly boss theme!

I’ve been planning to remaster this for a while now honestly, but when I saw Columbina revealed to not only be in Nod-Krai, but possibly central to it’s plotline in the new animated teaser I knew now was the time to do it. I attempted to make this sound like it could actually be a song from Genshin Impact, but with my limitation to digital instruments for orchestration (and a lack of access to a real choir or vocalist), it makes it difficult to perfectly match Genshin’s musical style. I admit I listened to a lot of songs from the game while making this remaster, mostly other Fatui Harbinger’s themes, in order to try and perfect the style.

Now for the actual concept for the fight this time… I don’t really have one. Well, I mean I don’t really have a full one. I have some scattered ideas, like Columbina possibly powering/becoming the Fatui’s ‘false moon’ which is why they needed to find her or something like that, hence the title of the intermediate cutscene theme, but that’s about it. In my original concept, when I made this back before Natlan’s release, I had the idea that Columbina would be somehow related to the Crimson Moon/Ronova (without even knowing Ronova was going to be playing a big role in Naltan’s plot) and that Natlan would go back to the typical “Fatui bad” plots that we had been getting before Fontaine, but I understand the decision they chose with the Fatui in Natlan and personally didn’t dislike it. But with Nod-Krai seemingly focusing on the Fatui as a more antagonistic force again, I could see Columbina being the final boss of its Archon Quest more than I could see it for Natlan’s. But this time, I’d like to hear you guys’ ideas for this potential weekly boss fight.

I know some may see this as a departure from my usual modern content, but I’ve been wanting to get back into doing Genshin Impact stuff like this for a while since I personally find it fun to do. Other stuff, such as the ever-so-popular Sonic remixes and mashups, will still come of course. But I’d also like to do some more content like this so that I don’t start feeling bored of doing the same thing every time I make a new track.

Anyways, that’s about all there is to say on this. Apologies for the long wait. I know I say this every time, but I always like to be transparent with you guys and college is yet again getting in the way of me uploading consistently (mostly because finals week is next week for me). It’s not terrible, but it’s enough to where the algorithm is kind of kicking my butt right now. Though this time it was partially my fault, since I could have waited to make this until after I had finished the Xenoblade Chronicles 4 conceptual final boss theme featured on the last poll (I’m still working on that btw) but that trailer coming out really made me want to tackle this now. Hey everyone! Here's a follow-up to my previous Xenoblade song; the final boss theme for my hypothetical Xenoblade Chronicles 4 concept!

This was a difficult song to make. I knew from the start that I wanted it to be connected to the Lotus, but I wasn't sure whether to lean more into the Zanza style or the Aion/Z style for the song, so I decided to attempt to combine them into one with this.

As for the concept for the fight itself, I imagine that you'd fight this boss (probably the true villain of the game) on top of the Lotus from the previous Xenoblade 4 video (go read the description of that if you haven't) as it is about to fire, hence the title of the song. Now I know this had a different title on the poll I did, but I ended up not liking that title and decided to change it.

Hey everyone! I'm back with another act 2 remix: this time for Kronos Island! I saw that this one overtook Shrouded Forest's act 2 on the poll after I had already made it, so I decided to make this one as well.

The goal here was to get more creative with the style and arrangement, making it more different from the original track than the act 1 mix as the act 2's typically are. I included parts from movements 2, 3, and 4 of Kronos Island in my act 1 mix, so this one includes parts from acts 5, 6 and 7. It's still EDM-focused, but I wanted to take it in a different direction than my previous mix while still being reminiscent of it.

Figuring out what to do with it was the more difficult part, but I eventually decided to do a Xenoblade-style remix of it. Not sure if it exactly sounds like Xenoblade (the wack time signatures in this make that a bit difficult), but I think it sounds close.

Hey everyone! I'm back with another addition to the Sonic x Genshin project! Out of these, this one was admittedly the easiest to transform into a Sonic theme, mostly because of how overall straightforward the melodies are in it. I did take some creative liberties with the arrangement here, but that's been the case with all of these because I have to simplify each of them to better fit Sonic's style.

Here, I tried to do something similar to what I did with the Liyue stage, 'Jadefall Cliffside', by mixing the region's main theme with Sonic's classic rock style. Like that one, this one takes heavy inspiration from Sonic Unleashed and some from Sonic Forces' modern stages.

If you're wondering, yes I'm splitting Dharma Forest and the Great Red Sand into two stages, one for the forest and one for the desert. This is because I don't feel like those two would blend too well if they were in one stage, and it wouldn't give each of them as much time to shine on their own as well. (It also gives me an excuse to include more Sonic characters in this, so yay). I'm not sure if I will tackle that one or the Nod-Krai stage yet, though. That depends on if I get to it before Nod-Krai releases (which, let's be honest, I probably won't).

As for why I chose Amy and Cream here, Amy was always going to be in Sumeru. This is mostly because I feel like her hammer could have fun interactions in the stage with the mushrooms and other objects you find around Sumeru in Genshin. I chose to add Cream as well because they're often partnered together and I wanted to put her in here somewhere.

Hey everyone! Over my break, I have now become a year older. Because I hadn't uploaded on my actual birthday (September 2nd), I decided to consider this upload my late 'birthday special' or whatever you'd like to call it. So...

...Here's a remaster of my first Genshin x Sonic level track; Jadefall Cliffside! I wanted to remaster this before continuing with this project to get it up-to-par with the quality of my more recent ones, such as the recent Verdant Jungle (Sumeru level remix). I thought there were a lot of things in the original that could be improved, especially since I'm much farther along in playing guitar than I was back when I made this initially.

With this remaster, I didn't want to take the integrity of the original song. I wanted to improve upon it and make it better, which is why I didn't add any new sections to it or anything like that. Future remasters could be different depending on what I decide to do with them, though.

In other news, video uploads should be about at least once every two or three days now, as I had originally made this song back in late August and have decided to begin scheduling these videos ahead of time so that you guys can get them more often (even if they can be dated now).

Hey everyone, I'm back!

This has been a rather hectic week for me, between getting sick with the flu (I'm better now!), having one of my friends visit and dealing with college work, it's safe for me to say that a lot of things got in the way of me finish this when I wanted to. But it's finally here! I promise you won't have to wait this long again for a good while.

This is my second place poll winner. Out of all the Genshin Impact main themes, this one was probably the easiest for me to transform into a Sonic-styled track using Aquarium Park from Sonic Colors as a basis for it. I wanted to mix the feel of Sonic water level tracks with that sort of Bossa Nova jazz feel Rouge's levels have in Sonic Adventure 2, though in my personal opinion the drum and bass overtakes it a little bit. I also wanted to include some things that Fontaine has in its soundtrack, specifically lots of chimes, vocals, and of course the mandolin.

No why did I choose Rouge and Omega for this area? I felt like there was a lot of potential here, and Fontaine just kind of gave me Rouge energy (and yes Spina di Rosina does kind of factor into that, but that's besides the point). Decided to include Omega too because of the fact that he's sort of similar to Fontaine's Meks. I'm surprised nobody guessed these two prior to me releasing this, I thought they were the perfect fit.

Hey everyone! Here's a remaster that's been a long time coming. I've been wanting to redo this song for a while now, not only to bring it up to the standard of my more modern Xenoblade Chronicles 4 concept themes, but also to finish an originally-planned part in the original I never did: the climax section.

For those that don't know, this theme is my take on what a hypothetical unique monster battle theme for Xenoblade 4 could sound like. It would be the equivalent of tracks like "You Will Know Our Names" or "You Will Reclaim Our Names" for this game. I had the idea of every one of these having "We Will- " in it for Xenoblade 4, 5, and 6 instead of "You Will- " for the original trilogy just to set them apart a bit, since assumedly this would be the beginning of a new saga for the series.

For the climax section, that is a concept introduced in Xenoblade Chronicles 3's battle theme where when a tough battle nears its end, the climax section of the battle theme plays. That concept carries over here to my hypothetical Xenoblade 4 battle themes, every major boss theme and battle theme like this will have one (save for story-important boss themes such as the final boss theme) and it will play when you're nearing the end of a battle.

Hey everyone! I'm back with another new addition to my hypothetical Xenoblade Chronicles 4 sountrack; this time with what I'm referring to as the 'plains area theme'. This would be the equivalent for tracks like Gaur Plain, Gormott, and Millick Meadows.

Here, I wanted to do something in the same vain as those tracks, but also make it unique. In that sense, I injected a little bit of jazz/funk into it, just a touch, to make it stand out.

My overall concept for this area is that it would be obviously a typical grassy plain area, but I wanted this to be more apalachian, hence the name of the area being 'Lost Apalachia'. This would be your first big stop in the game after the call to adventure occurs, and would be littered with lower-level enemies (and a giant monkey that will one shot you). In the distance, the looming structure that would be seen is something I'm calling the 'High Authority Fortress', the fortress for the main antagonists in this concept, the High Authority. I won't explain who they are here, but their fortress can be seen throughout the majority of the world, similar to the Mechonis or the World Tree.
