In Oktober of 2021 we decided record the essence of what we were playing in our latest concerts after the corona lockdown.
So we met for 2 hours at the Ghoetebunker and did the deed.

2 Facing The Darkness Seeing The Light

E.N.D.E. is an Essen based drum and bass, dub and techno band consisting of four highly skilled and versatile musicians creating a sound which easily let’s you believe there are ten people on stage. They play usually electronically produced music in an acoustic and improvised live context always reading and feeling, what the audience wants and going with the flow of the dancing crowd.
Wild and tight drumming of virtuoso Simon Camatta meets dubby and wobbly FX-pumped Bass of Moritz Anthes. This pumping rhythm section is spiced with the nearly endless wicked and sick sounds, patterns, samples and ideas of Max Wehner on the trombone and Este Kirchhoff on ever changing weird guitar or lapsteel setups.

„monokino-productions“ is label and plattform for music and video works produced by Bernward Schilke aka „der minotauros“, the name for my musical-ego and my solo-productions. Together with Eva Henning I build the elektro-acustic-duo named „kaas & kopje“. In 2023 we start the new Brass Project "Brass & Kopje". I´m also bassplayer in the punk-rock-poetry band named „Marilyn´s Army“. In the 1990´s I formed the techno-live-orchester named „T.E.V.O.“ together with five Friends. My own CDs  I produced as „der minotauros“ or together with Eva Henning as „kaas & kopje“ and "Brass & Kopje". With „T.E.V.O.“ we produced LP and CD, with „Marilyn´s Army“ several CDs.

„monokino-productions“ ist Label und Plattform für meine eigenen Musik- und Video-Arbeiten. Mein Name ist Bernward Schilke aka „der minotauros“, Musiker, Producer, Songwriter, experimenteller Tonal- und Visual-Gestalter.  Als „der minotauros“ veröffentliche ich seit den 1990er Jahren meine eigenen CDs und experimentellen Videos. Zusammen mit Eva Henning bilde ich seit 2001 das elektro-akkustische-Duo „kaas & kopje“.  Im Jahr 2023 haben wir das neue Brass Projekt "Brass & Kopje" gestartet. In der 1986 gegründeten deutschsprachigen Punk-Rock Band „Marilyn´s Army“ spiele ich seit 1999 den Bass. 1993 gründete ich mit fünf Freunden das Techno-Live-Orchester „T.E.V.O.“. Neben LP und CD Veröffentlichungen spielten wir bis 2001 unzählige Live-Performances auf Techno Partys und Festivals in ganz Deutschland und dem benachbarten Ausland.
