A country outfit from Fort Lauderdale, Florida, popular in the mid to late 1990s, Natchez was the brainchild of talented vocalist, guitarist and songwriter Larry Hall and drummer David Robinson, who took the name for the band from the Natchez Plantation House, a legendary resort hotel that was a popular destination spot on Fort Lauderdale’s beachfront “Strip.” Hall and Robinson were joined by a trio of savvy musicians in Beetle Bailey (keyboards), Ross Bigbie (steel guitar) and Mark Brooks (bass). At the height of their popularity in the late 1990s, Natchez recorded its only full-length album, "Just Between The Two Of Us," - a fine collection of Larry's superb songs with writing contributions from Robinson ("Somebody's Woman") and American songwriter and session singer Hoyt Garrick Jr. ("New Orleans Ladies") and one co-written by album producer Joe Stone ("Love's Gonna Change"). Long out of print, the original album has been a sought-after treasure in collector's circles. This overlooked gem is presented here newly remastered for this CD reissue and has been finally made available in the digital domain.

A classically trained orchestra string bassist from eleven years of age, Amos Larkins transitioned to the electric bass to practice the Jazz/ Fusion Rock genre he so admired as a teenager. A natural talent, Amos was fortunate to have studied with the legendary bassist Jaco Pastorius and world-renowned pianist Chick Corea. Amos has participated in workshops with Stanley Clarke, George Duke, Billy Cobham, Jean-Luc Ponty, Al Di Meola, and countless others. From the age of sixteen, he became a studio bassist at the Miami Sound Machine and T.K. Records studios in Miami, where he also learned the art of sound engineering and worked on many sessions as an engineer. While producing music for the ill-fated movie “Cry of the City,” he met Barry Gibb of Bee Gees fame. Gibb allowed Larkins to moonlight at his Middle Ear Recording Studios, and it was there that Amos produced some of the first (if not the first) hip-hop music to be heard in Miami. He took the hip-hop work he had produced at Gibb’s studio and played it for Henry Stone, the legendary music mogul and founder of the highly successful T.K. Records label. Stone had just formed a new record company named Sunnyview Records. After listening to this new, ground-breaking style of Miami Rap music production, Henry told Larkins that he could make lots of money producing this type of music. Amos soon began working as a staff producer under Stone at Sunnyview. This is where Amos came up with and developed the Miami Bass genre that continues to inform and influence hip-hop and rap music to this day. Widely known today as the progenitor of the Miami Bass movement, Amos Larkins II is one of the only producers from that golden age who has never slowed down, continually producing music that is ahead of the curve since he first walked into a studio decades ago. That undying passion is entirely on display with his latest offering, aptly titled Amos Larkins Presents Electro Miami Bass Future Classics.

Lee, a musician from Clewiston, Florida, gained prominence in the 1990s as part of the hip-hop duo Straight Coffee For George with friend Antonio “T-Lyfe” Humphrey. He later formed The Square Egg, known for blending hip-hop, funk, jazz, and soul, earning recognition in Miami and New York. As a solo artist, Lee played renowned venues in New York and Buenos Aires, releasing albums like "Naked" (2010), "Reasons To Buy This Album" (2014), and "2+2=5" (2017). His 2022 album, "Maybe Now," was a lush musical journey influenced by his life in Buenos Aires.His latest release, "The Reprieve," continues to push musical boundaries. Stay tuned for more...
