Radio documentary feature on Canvey Island residents' concerns about the risk of explosion from a liquified natural gas (LNG) storage facility on the island. Speakers include Mrs Dot Shaw, local councillor; Fred McCabe, editor of the local newspaper; Sandy Murray, a spokesman for British Gas Corporation; and Sir Bernard Braine, Member of Parliament for Canvey Island. Produced by Dennis Rookard in c. 1978-1979.

The British Gas terminal closed in 1994, and was converted to a storage facility owned by Calor Gas.
