What sets Killer Hertz apart is their unique live band format — a rare force in Drum & Bass that combines the energy of a DJ set with the intensity of live instruments and unique vocals. Their live shows have hit major festivals worldwide, while their sell-out DJ sets capture the essence of DnB culture on a global scale.

If anyone knows this, it’s Sammie Hall.  A shining light in the new generation of singer-songwriters to have emerged in the UK’s thriving drum & bass scene in recent years, Sammie might seem like a relatively new name, but she’s been eating, sleeping, breathing, living and loving this culture for more years than you might know.  
Sammie’s story boasts many inspiring twists and turns. From her love of karaoke and talent shows as a child; to the drum & bass breakfast show she hosted for years on Brighton’s Reverb FM; to her deep passion for playing acoustic guitar and having people sing along to her own songs at open mic nights… Every chapter of Sammie’s life has involved high levels of music. But nothing on the prolific and international levels she’s been operating at since her debut release on Down 2 Earth Musik in 2020.
Breath-taking, goosebumping and emotionally-charged; Sammie’s vocals found the perfect home in drum & bass. Complementing the music’s infamous, unruly turbo spirit, her distinctive, powerful and dynamic style has become synonymous with the starker, darker and experimental side of the genre. This unique style has attracted an endless range of highly respected artists, labels and brands including Sola, Airglo, Cliques, Wingz, SiLi, Conrad Subs, Formation Records, Overview Music, Program, Skankandbass.
Driven by a strong sense of community and inspired by helping others, Sammie has also established a hugely successful collaboration group online that brings creatives from all over the world together. She’s also responsible created two very popular vocal sample-packs for ByTheProducer and EST Loopcloud, giving producers a chance to utilise high quality vocals with full creative autonomy and without fear of copyright strikes. Understanding just how many twists and turns a life in music can have, it’s not just her music that brings people together, but her actions, too. And this is just the beginning; Sammie might seem like she’s reached her destination, but her rich journey continues…

Known for his high energy 4 deck, scratch laden DJ sets and earth shattering production, Erb N Dub (Peter Chapman) is an artist that is consistently going from strength to strength. Over fifteen years of global shows, chart topping releases and major sponsorship deals.

Example, Harry Shotta and Dynamite MC have featured on his tracks and he has remixed many leading artists such as DJ Fresh, Foreign Beggars, TC and The Prototypes.

His musical landscape has been shaped by where he grew up. Manchester’s foreboding skies and frequent rain clouds mean, like so many Mancunian musicians that have come before him, he connects to music with a melancholy undertone, that’s provocative and emotional

Dogger got into DJing, and later producing, on discovering and falling in love with jungle, tracks of influence collide, specifically in drum & bass legends Calibre and the late, great, Marcus Intalex. Beyond these Smith’s influences span David Lynch, Joy Division and Björk, as well as Alix Perez, whose label has now released his music with collaborative partner Mindstate —2019’s Broken Home EP with a second, The Time Is Yours, due imminently. 


The pair like their music stripped back, allowing space for the vocal line to shine, and nowhere does this ring truer than on the title track of Broken Home. Across the four tracks, singer-songwriter Liam Bailey (Bailey laid down the vocal on Chase & Status’ 2011 classic ‘Blind Faith’), brings warmth and soul to Dogger & Mindstate’s crisp and atmospheric production — with watery pads and bright chord progressions, it’s liquid at its most emotive, and its most meditative. 

2019 was a promising year for Dogger & Mindstate, not only for their production debut as a duo, but also for a handful of career-defining shows. Sardinia festival SUNANDBASS was a highlight, where Dogger was invited to play on a lineup curated by Calibre, and the duo played the Space Cadet pool party hosted by DRS

There’s no doubt that 2020 would have been an exciting one for Dogger. That is before, of course, a pandemic brought the world grinding to a halt. But smith used the time to focus on production, both with Mindstate and on their respective solo projects, the fruits of which will come out via Dogger’s new imprint, Precinct. Besides working together, they’re also working with MC DRS, and Manchester-based vocalist [ K S R ].

Djing since I was 17 and started playing Big Beat in and around Birmingham at the end of the 90's. I then went to University in Liverpool where I used to play at nights like Chibuku Shake Shake and Superfly. I moved to Manchester in 2010 and then started to produce and now live in Exmouth Devon where I promote, DJ and produce for years now. I play across the board but favourite genres are Drum and Bass, Bass House, Breakbeat and House.
