Ladies and gentlemen - Today we've got the honor to present you Sashy !!!

"I am a Ukrainian-born DJ Streamer based in Toronto, Canada. As a veteran in the house & trance music scene, I rediscovered my passion for electronic music while on maternity leave with my son during pandemic lockdown and fell in love with melodic and progressive sounds all over again. Like many of us, I found comfort and healing in music during this challenging time, and it helped me get through the uncertainty of life as a first-time parent while navigating this important life stage in isolation from others. At 37 and as part of my new year’s resolution for 2023, I realized that life was too short and decided to finally learn how to DJ as my ongoing dream from teenage years. 

With the help of online tutorials, Crossfader DJ courses and various online DJ communities – I progressed very quickly and landed a resident DJ spot on Mix365 online radio where I currently host a weekly show called In The Moment With Sashy, mixing my favourite freshest releases in progressive/melodic house and melodic techno. I love to discover up-and-coming producers and showcase their talents through my specially curated mixes. The show is being video livestreamed on the radio’s website and restreamed to my twitch channel attracting hundreds of viewers from all over the world. This guest mix is a live recording from my weekly show to give you a preview of the kind of sound you are expected to hear if you were to join one of my weekly streams."

 'Van Did & Arno Gonzalez' deliver a fine EP of underground goodness, while adding layers of melodies to brighten the overall appeal on the mighty Sudbeat who have been wow-ing clubland with an array of quality that shows no sign of let up.

Starting with the title track 'Vias', from the off, its intensity dictates that this serious slab of goodness is going to be doing the damage. Big dominating bass sounds lead the proceedings, while subtle dreamy edged pads, with nice crystalliser effects add a trippier vibe to this solid wondrous soundscape.

'Van Did' goes solo next with 'Relatii'. This romantic warm fantasy of sound meanders from daydreaming glistening moments to another with ease, like breath of fresh air for the dance floor.

And to round things off, the duo return with 'Kasepian'. A Berlin edged sounding gem, with its brooding bassline meeting whimsical sounds cascading into each other in an intoxicating marriage.
