Rooster37 is the musical project of producer Andy Bert, a Canadian artist based in Calgary, Alberta.

With an original flair for mixing a wide variety of music, from grinding synth, to polyrythmic percussion, jazzy horns, rocking guitar, killer keyboards, chillful soul and classy funk, Rooster37 raises his antenna to influences long buried deep in his memory.

With an explosion of diverse releases starting in 2018, Rooster37 is intentionally focused on not sounding like the rest. The process is about finding parts that work well sonically, whether they end up sounding sweetly smooth or jaggedly rough.

Influences include 60's R&B/rock/motown, 70's hard rock/pop, 80's new wave/metal/smooth jazz, and 90's grunge/techno/hip-hop/funk/acid jazz/electronica.

Other Influencers: Ninja Tune, Luke Vibert, Coldcut, Deep Forest, Orbital, Aphex Twin, Bonobo, Thievery Corporation, Zero 7.
