Ram Sakurai’s (a.k.a Ramin Sakurai of Supreme Beings of Leisure) debut EP, “The Outbreak,” was inspired by and recorded during the coronavirus lockdown, and the civil unrest following the tragic death of George Floyd, during the spring of 2020. While a
frustrating time for all, the cultural pause of the lockdown offered a moment for solitude and creativity for Sakurai. This new EP ultimately speaks to hope breaking through this period of anger, sadness, frustration, isolation and loneliness. Projected release is date
is June 30th 2020.
