It’s gettin' hot in here, you can’t escape the scorching heat of this humid bubble stuck between a skyscraper and a suspended highway. Just get some refreshment, poor a double cup of the finest purple drank, open a pack of jollyranchers, ‘cause you gon' sip lean all day long to set yourself on the correct speed and be at one with your environment.
In the lone star state we’re going 85bpm (on a more classical scheme, boom bap is 93bpm), this is straight southern gangsta funk from the third coast, it is slow as fuck and this is the way it's supposed to be. It was well represented during the 90’s with powerhouses such as Rap-A-Lot, Suave House or DJ Screw (and the "screwed and chopped" culture).
