Record something to help someone fall asleep


This track I created today is supposed to help somebody fall asleep *and* have nightmares. That's licit right?

I had this piano track recorded this summer using a guitar pick on my upright piano, along with some regularly played notes and chords. Very simple , very spacious and lovely natural sound.
Just added some synth noises and Valhalla Supermassive. Easy and rewarding Thursday afternoon.

This is just a simple ambient solo using the Buchla Music Easel and Christopher H.M Jacques "Sleepwalker" patch for the Zoia. Hopefully it will be of some use to someone for the trio project.

All three source tracks loaded onto Radio Music, stepping between the first second and third iterations randomly. Processing in two parts, one steady pulsing gates, one slower envelopes into a granular processor. Some editing and ambience added in Live.

Night in forest. Somebody is skulking in undergrowth and making eerie sounds. At times it feels like a possessed child or even Gollum is lurking in dark forest...

Edit: It is most likely a pine marten. I had another recording with visual contact and the sounds were pretty similar.
