NEW TIME - DRP and Sinth

"SLAG", is a Hard Rock Guitar Instrumental that was produced for film and TV licensing.  This track has two separate grooves going on, both built on solid guitar hooks.  The main guitar hook is a tricky little D minor riff, the verse or secondary riff is more staight forward ROCK, but I added a melodic overlay utilizing delayed reverb.  This gives the overlay an almost Pink Floyd meets Boston effect, which I think adds to the mood of the piece nicely, and breaks up the main guitar hook as well.  Cut down the middle with a quirky and somewhat stretchy 2 part guitar solo, this is another one I think is worth blowing some speakers over for sure.

FYI, since people often ask about my titles, I'll say that they usually relate to something.  In this case, the word "SLAG" is both British slang for a "HO", and a term used to describe left-over metal from the firing process.  As for which meaning this title is referring to, I'll leave you hanging, but the song's cover-art does depict a guitar pick made from "SLAG", engraved with the http://JFRocks.com logo.  But, none the less, it could go either way, as I always have something or someone in mind when I'm creating music.  Imagery is important when writing after all.

More reflective and subtle atmos here, can be more suitable as a backtrack. Has no original Spoken and the all instruments are more verby/ambient. Hope it inspires you for yet another Spoken Word or improve instrumentation on guitar, piano or else. I just rearranged the original. In this cut the Cello part an intro. The mid space of the track, starting at 0:40-0:50 and going to outro at 2:40, is the place to run your new ART over. It can be additionally looped. Let me know it need different rearrangement to fit your take. I will be more than happy to do it! :D
